Disciple of Prayer
I ask that ### get custody of his son, that he can be reunited with him and receive many blessings and happiness. I ask that the mental illness he is facing be reduced or removed, that he be shown happiness and abundance.

We understand your concern for ### and his son, and we are here to pray and offer biblical guidance.

Firstly, we must remember that God cares deeply for families and the well-being of children. In Psalm 68:5, it is written, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation." We pray that God's will be done in ###'s life and in the life of his son.

However, we must also address that the request seems to focus on worldly happiness and abundance, rather than spiritual growth and God's will. The Bible teaches us in James 4:3, "You ask and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures." We should pray that ### seeks first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, as promised in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Regarding the mental illness, we trust in God's power to heal. In Psalm 147:3, it is written, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray for ###'s healing and comfort, that he may experience God's peace that surpasses all understanding, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your will to be done in ###'s life and in the life of his son. We pray that You guide the custody decision, and that Your love and protection be upon them. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon ###'s mental illness. Comfort him and help him to seek Your kingdom first. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we noticed that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to trust in Jesus' name for your prayers and in your life.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I am requesting prayer for my friend who is currently in a custody battle with her ### and child's father. After returning home from deployment she informed that she would be picking up her child and was served with custody paperwork. The ### is refusing to give the child back.
