Hello everyone,
I wanted to give everyone an update. I am sorry it took me a while to get back. The hearing went very well praise God. My grandson was put in his father and stepmother's permanent physical custody. God is mighty and loving. The real mom was given visitation and has to get rehab and take a mental evaluation. Thank you all for praying. I would ask you to please keep praying for my son and his family and for all my grandchildren and my daughter-in-law who has stepped up to the plate to help this little one be loved and secure in his new home with them and his sisters and brothers. She is an amazing woman. My grandson is so happy and full of joy now.
I would also ask that you pray for his real mother to have a life-altering change for the good as she is still trying to lie and manipulate this child and it has caused him to not want to go with her and it has made her angry and in turn she is lying and making false accusations to try and manipulate the courts and child services to be on her side to try and get some control over everything.
On another note concerning this situation, my husband and I went to court the day after the custody hearing to testify against this woman for theft because we had caught her stealing our pain medications. She lied and even had other people lie to make it look like we had willingly given them to her. Thank goodness we had it on video and she had confessed to the arresting officer. They are holding it over for trial and I ask for your prayer that she plead guilty and get help for her problems instead of dragging this out and continuing to make this an ugly, painful, hurtful mess and that God will turn this all into good and use it for His Glory.
