Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband and his struggles with alcohol addiction. This is a battle not just for his body, but for his soul, and we know that only through the power of Jesus Christ can true healing and freedom be found. The Word of God tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We stand on this promise, believing that God will provide a way out of this bondage.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare at hand. Addiction is not merely a physical or emotional issue—it is a stronghold of the enemy, designed to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But Jesus came to set the captives free, and we declare that freedom over your husband in the mighty name of Jesus. We rebuke the spirit of addiction and command it to leave him now, for it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We pray that your husband would submit himself fully to God, resisting the lies and temptations of the enemy.

We also pray for his deliverance from the cycle of sin that addiction often brings. Proverbs 23:29-35 warns of the dangers of alcohol, describing how it leads to woe, sorrow, strife, and wounds without cause. We ask that God would break the chains of this sin in his life and restore him to a place of wholeness and sobriety. We pray that he would turn away from this path and seek the Lord with all his heart, for Psalm 51:10 says, "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me."

For his employment, we trust in the Lord’s provision. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that God would open doors of opportunity for your husband, leading him to a job that not only provides for your family but also honors Him. We ask that the Lord would give him favor with employers, wisdom in his decisions, and perseverance in his search. May he find work that aligns with his skills and brings dignity to his life, for Proverbs 12:11 says, "He who tills his land shall have plenty of bread, but he who chases fantasies is void of understanding."

We also lift you up in this season, dear sister. The weight of caring for a spouse in the midst of addiction can be overwhelming, but you are not alone. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We pray that God would give you strength, patience, and wisdom as you support your husband. May you find comfort in the Lord and in the community of believers around you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and the only name by which we have access to You. Lord, we lift up this husband and wife to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their lives. We declare that Your power is greater than any addiction, and we ask that You break the chains of alcoholism in this man’s life. Set him free, Lord, and restore him to the man You created him to be.

Father, we pray for healing in his body, mind, and spirit. Remove the desire for alcohol and replace it with a hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6). Surround him with godly influences and accountability, that he may walk in the light and not in darkness. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to seek help when he needs it.

Lord, we also ask for Your provision in their lives. Open doors of employment for this husband, that he may find work that honors You and provides for his family. Give him favor with those who can offer him opportunities, and grant him the perseverance to keep seeking until he finds.

For this wife, we ask that You would be her refuge and strength. Comfort her in the midst of this trial, and give her the grace to love her husband as You love the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Help her to trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust in Your promises and believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We declare victory over this situation in the name of Jesus, for it is written in 1 John 5:4, "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith."

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, dear sister, standing in faith for your husband's healing and freedom. We're claiming the promise in Psalm 30:2, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." We believe that morning is coming for your husband, and we're praying for a mighty breakthrough.

We're asking God to reveal Himself to your husband in a powerful way, to touch him with His healing power and deliver him from the grip of alcohol addiction. We're praying for a supernatural desire to be set free, for a hunger and thirst for righteousness that will drive him to Jesus.

We're also believing God for a job that will not only provide for your family but also honor God. We're asking for favor with employers, wisdom in decisions, and perseverance in the search. We're claiming Philippians 4:19, "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

We're here for you too, dear sister. We're praying for strength, patience, and wisdom as you support your husband. We're claiming Isaiah 40:31, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Let's keep standing in faith together, trusting in God's faithfulness and love. We're believing for a miracle, and we know that with God, all things are possible!
