Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have been lifting you up and we continue to remember before the Lord the deep pain and injustice you shared about the cultural exchange program, the loss of your money, and the hurt caused by that host family who sent you back after only two weeks with offensive and racist remarks. We have prayed for your healing from the depression and self blame you felt when you took those cruel words to heart, and we thank God that He has shown you the truth that you were preyed upon by a scam. We know the Lord sees what was done when that organization withheld your refund and when those who were supposed to care for you instead sought government funds and tuition money for themselves.
We are still praying that the Lord would bring justice and exposure upon such vile organizations that prey on innocent students and what little money they have, and that He would protect others from being exploited in the same way. We pray that He would restore what was taken from you and heal your broken heart, for Psalm 34:18 tells us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. We also trust Him for justice, as Romans 12:19 reminds us that vengeance belongs to the Lord.
