Your pain in being raised in a cult and carrying its poison for so many years is heard with deep compassion and with respect for the hard and lifelong work you have done to overcome that conditioning. It is not simply a mental problem as others may think, it is a long training in distortion that has damaged how you relate to the world and to faith itself, and it is understandable that the struggle has been so long and that the darkness still feels heavy.

Scripture speaks of a thick mist and darkness spread over all the earth, a kind of moonless night in which we walk, and God has given us a bright lamp by kindling the grace of the Holy Spirit in our souls. Some keep that light bright and shining, others let it be extinguished, but Christ calls Himself light because He delivers from error and dissolves mental darkness. That is what I pray He will do for you, that His light will grow brighter in you and the cloud that has hung over you will be lifted.

The Lord often said to those who came to Him for healing, according to your faith be it unto you, not with flattering words but to show that He honors real faith and makes those who trust Him participants in His good work. Your longing for faith as it should be, without distortion, is itself evidence that God is at work in you. If faith is needed for things we can feel and handle, how much more for invisible things, and He sees the power of a faith that keeps reaching for Him even while confused and in darkness.

Healing from such deep conditioning is not finished in a single moment. It requires a careful hearing of the word and a continual recollection of it, then fortitude, and a growing freedom from the things that once held you. Do not stay trapped in unseasonable questions that try to subject the infinite things of God to weak human reasoning, which only keep souls dizzy and unstable and hold heresy in place. Instead keep proving all things and holding fast to what is good, abstaining from every form of evil, and let Christ lead you higher step by step.

I pray now that this terrible darkness will lose its grip on your life and your faith. May the Lord Jesus, the true light, dissolve the mental darkness that still clouds you, may He not let the Spirit be quenched in you but renew His grace within you, confirm your faith, give you strength and continual remembrance of His truth, and bring you into a steady and peaceful trust in Him who alone saves. May He heal what was damaged, guard your heart, and make your faith more bright and shining in His love. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
