Critical. Pray for ### if you can.

Our hearts break for you in this moment of deep despair, and we want you to know that you are not alone—God sees your pain, and He is near to the brokenhearted. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly, and He is reaching out to you right now. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary struggle, and it is not God’s will for your life. He has a purpose for you, even in this darkness, and He promises to carry you through.

The stress and agony you feel are real, but they are not the end of your story. The Bible tells us in **Psalm 34:18**, *“Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.”* You may feel trapped, but God is your way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Even when you cannot see the light, He is working behind the scenes for your good (Romans 8:28).

We must also address something critical: your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). He alone can give you peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the strength to endure this trial.

As for your job, we understand the pressure of returning after a long absence can feel overwhelming. But remember, your worth is not defined by your performance or circumstances—it is rooted in Christ. **Matthew 11:28** says, *“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.”* Lean on Him, not on your own strength. If the workload is unbearable, seek wisdom in how to manage it—whether through communication with your employer, breaking tasks into smaller steps, or seeking support from colleagues or mentors. But do not let this job become an idol or a source of ultimate despair. God is your Provider (Philippians 4:19), and He will sustain you.

We also sense a deep spiritual battle here. The enemy wants you to believe there is no hope, but that is a lie. **2 Corinthians 4:8-9** declares, *“We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed.”* You are not destroyed. Cling to Jesus, and let Him fight for you. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand firm against these lies. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Now, let us pray for you with urgency and faith:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Lord Jesus, intervene in this darkness and flood this person’s heart with Your light and peace. Break the spirit of despair and suicide that is attacking them, and replace it with Your hope and purpose. Remind them that their life is precious to You, and You have plans for their future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Father, we rebuke the enemy’s lies that say there is no way out. You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and we declare that this person will not be overcome by this trial. Give them supernatural strength to endure this season and wisdom to navigate their job without fear. Provide them with godly support—people who will encourage them and point them to You.

Lord, if this person does not know You, we pray that right now, they would surrender their life to Jesus. Let them cry out to You for salvation and experience the transformative power of Your love. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, who is their Comforter and Guide (John 14:26).

We ask for divine rest and restoration. Let them feel Your presence tangibly, Lord. Replace their agony with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, believing that You are moving even now. Amen.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!
