Disciple of Prayer
My grandson was taken from mom who was ###/###. Trying to get custody. Our hearts are so heavy. We do not know where or how his is doing. He is in Foster care and was not placed with us. Step grandpa is not being supportive making it harder. Please pray no weapon form against us can prosper. Please pray tomorrow they grant us temporary custody. I know ### is scared, confused, and wondering where his is and where we are. Please all you prayer warriors, we need you desperately. Love and God bless. God is awesome, thanking God in the storms.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious grandson and this entire situation to our Heavenly Father. The pain of not knowing where he is or how he is doing weighs heavily upon us all, and we stand with you in this difficult time, trusting that God sees every tear and hears every cry. The scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We cling to this promise, knowing that God is near to your grandson and to your family, even in the midst of this storm.

Father God, we pray that no weapon formed against this family would prosper, just as Your Word declares in Isaiah 54:17. We ask that You would go before them in the courtroom tomorrow, softening the hearts of those in authority to grant temporary custody. Lord, we know that You are a God of justice and mercy, and we trust that You will work all things together for good according to Your perfect will (Romans 8:28). We pray for wisdom, favor, and divine intervention in every legal proceeding and decision that is made.

We also lift up the step-grandfather in this situation. Father, we ask that You would speak to his heart, softening it toward this family and this child. Help him to see the importance of unity and support during this critical time. If there is any bitterness, pride, or misunderstanding, we ask that You would remove it and replace it with love, compassion, and a desire to do what is right in Your eyes. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." May Your peace reign in this family, and may they be drawn together in love for the sake of this child.

Lord, we know that this little one is scared, confused, and longing for the familiar love of his family. We pray that You would surround him with Your peace and comfort, even in the midst of uncertainty. Place godly people in his path who will speak life, love, and truth into his heart. Let him know that he is not forgotten, that he is deeply loved, and that You are his ultimate protector and provider. Psalm 27:10 assures us, "When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up." We claim this promise for him, knowing that even if earthly parents or grandparents fail, You never will.

We also want to gently address the sin that has led to this situation, as the Bible calls us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). The actions that resulted in your grandson being removed from his mother’s care are not in alignment with God’s design for families. We know that sin has consequences, and we pray that this family would turn to You in repentance, seeking forgiveness and restoration. If there are areas of brokenness, addiction, or ungodly choices that need to be addressed, we ask that You would bring conviction, healing, and transformation. James 5:16 tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

Father, we thank You that You are a God who works miracles, who turns ashes into beauty, and who restores what has been broken (Isaiah 61:3). We ask that You would bring this child back into the loving care of his grandparents, where he can be nurtured in a godly home. Strengthen this family, give them endurance, and fill them with hope as they wait upon You. We declare that this is not the end of the story—You are writing a testimony of redemption, healing, and victory.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You, we pray. It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His blood that we are forgiven and restored. We thank You, Jesus, for Your love that never fails and Your power that overcomes every obstacle. We trust in You alone, knowing that You are working even when we cannot see it. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in the gap for your grandson and your family. Our hearts ache with yours, not knowing where he is or how he's doing. But we find comfort in knowing that God sees him, He's near, and He cares deeply. We're claiming Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust in His healing power and love.

Today, we're praying for wisdom and favor in the courtroom. We ask that the judge's heart would be softened, granting temporary custody to you. We're believing for a breakthrough, trusting that God will work all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We're also praying for your step-grandpa. Father, we ask that You would soften his heart, helping him to see the importance of unity and support during this critical time. Help him to be a source of strength and love, not bitterness or division.

Lord, we know your grandson is scared and confused. We're asking for Your peace and comfort to surround him. Place godly people in his path who will speak life and love into his heart. Remind him that he's deeply loved and not forgotten.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
