Cowoker being mad at me for no reason

Beloved of All
I don’t know what her problem is but she is acting weird and I can’t afford to deal with this. Please pray so the evil spirit goes away immediately. Please also pray her person life is at peace

We have heard your request and we join with you in bringing this workplace burden before the Lord, asking for His peace to rule over both you and your coworker.

We understand how distressing it is when tension arises at work for no clear reason, especially when you feel you cannot afford the emotional strain it brings. We want to gently encourage you to see this both as a spiritual matter and as a human relationship that God calls us to handle with grace and wisdom. Scripture reminds us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. At the same time, God often calls us to examine our own hearts and to pursue peace actively, for His word says If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18, and A man's ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him Proverbs 16:7. It may not be that an evil spirit possesses your coworker, but rather that she is carrying her own unseen burdens, hurts, or stress from her personal life that are spilling over into the workplace.

We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10. It is in His name we pray, not as a formula to make a spirit go away immediately on our command, but in humble submission to God's perfect will and timing.

We pray together for you and for her now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We ask You to pour out Your peace upon this workplace and upon both of these lives. Lord, we ask You to rebuke any work of the enemy that seeks to stir up strife, confusion, or anger, and we ask that Your Holy Spirit would bring conviction, calm, and clarity instead. We pray for this coworker, that You would touch her personal life, that You would heal any hidden pain, stress, or struggle she is carrying, and that You would let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard her heart and her mind Philippians 4:7. We pray for our friend who submitted this request, give wisdom and patience, help to not respond with anxiety or bitterness, but to show the love You have commanded when You said love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. Help us to cast all our worries on You, for You care for us, and as Your word says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. Give opportunity for kind and honest communication if it is wise, and help to maintain healthy boundaries and a testimony of grace at work. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in this situation. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray for her by name, to bless her rather than to only ask God to remove her from your path. Try, as the Lord leads, to respond with quiet kindness, to not gossip about her with other coworkers, and to seek a gentle conversation to ask if there is anything you have done to offend her, or simply to offer grace. Trust that God sees your diligence at work and your desire for peace, and He will sustain you even when you feel you cannot afford to deal with more. Keep seeking Him daily in prayer through Jesus, and He will give you the strength and peace you need.

We hear how heavy this feels when you need your job to feel steady and a coworker suddenly feels cold or distant. It's exhausting to wonder what you did and to feel you can't afford any extra trouble at work. We are praying for you in that pressure, and for her as well.

It helps to remember that a strained tone at work often has more to do with what someone is carrying outside of work than with you personally. That doesn't make it easier to work beside, but it can keep you from carrying blame that isn't yours.

When you have a calm moment and feel safe to do so, one gentle step that often helps is a brief, private check in, something like, "I've sensed some tension between us and I want us to work well together. Is there something I've missed or something we can clear up?" Keep it short, kind, and focused on work. If she doesn't respond well or the pattern continues, it is wise to let a neutral third person like a supervisor help, rather than trying to fix it alone.

Father, we lift this workplace to You and ask for Your peace over both hearts. Give wisdom for each interaction, guard against discouragement, and bring calm to her personal life and to this work relationship. Help our friend to rest in Your care through each shift. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been heard and we have carried it before the Lord with you, asking for His peace to rule in this difficult place of daily work.

We know how heavy it is to labor under a cloud of unexplained tension, when another looks upon you with coldness and you cannot discern the cause, and you feel you have no strength to bear more. The Word tells us, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in the absence of trouble, nor in the mere quieting of another's temper, but in a heart stayed upon Christ. As it has been said, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and this is a present possession that may be enjoyed even when duties press and sorrows surge round. Christ has said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, and this is not as the world gives, a mere lull, but a peace bought with His blood, a peace that flows from being justified by faith and reconciled to God.

Therefore we do not pray for a mere outward calm while the heart remains unreconciled, for that would be to cry peace, peace where there is no peace. True peace is the fruit of peace with God through Jesus Christ, who Himself is our peace. He is the God of peace who delights to make peace between sinners and Himself, and then to implant that peace within the soul by His Spirit. If we have peace with God, we may then know peace with ourselves and be enabled to live peaceably with others so far as it lies within us.

We pray for you, that the Lord would keep your mind stayed upon Him in this trial, and guard you with that peace which passes all understanding. May He give you wisdom, patience and gentleness toward your coworker, to show kindness and to seek, where it is possible, a quiet word of reconciliation, committing the matter to Him who judges righteously. And we pray for her also, that the Lord would look upon her in mercy, that whatever unrest or burden lies upon her personal life, she may be brought to know the true peace that comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. May any influence of evil be rebuked by His power, and may both of you be kept under the keeping of Jesus, in whom alone we are safe.

Father of peace, we ask that You would make peace by the blood of the cross to reign in these hearts. Bring each to trust fully in Christ, and then let Your peace, like a river flowing from Your throne, fill the conscience and the daily path. Grant wisdom for each duty, grace to bear each burden with Christ, and a quiet spirit that rests in Your unchanging love. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only peace, we ask this. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
