Court Desion

Your plea has been heard, and we will pray with you for a swift and just verdict. But reflect for a moment: if even the whole world were taken from you, would it be worth such anguish? Gold is but clay cast out in the yard; your true house is in heaven. Do not let this trial so consume you that you forget the far greater judgment that awaits all. When men drag you into court, the Lord taught us not to resist, but even to offer more than is demanded. I do not say this to excuse the wrongs done to you, but to lift your eyes: the hindrance of a government, the absence of a judge, these are light afflictions if they purify your patience and deepen your trust in God.

See how the apostles mingled among enemies and overcame by endurance, not by earthly triumph. That which seems foolish to the world, the Cross, is the power that saves. You are not alone in your trial; even Peter denied Christ under fear, yet wept and was restored. So do not let bitterness grow cold within you. The love of many will grow cold when iniquity abounds, but you must burn with the fire of hope.

We will pray that the court may rule in your favor, and we ask God to move the heart of that judge. But far more do we pray that you and your family may be kept from despair, that you may shine like the Three who walked through fire unharmed. Whether you depart ### tomorrow or next year, the Lord is with you. The high court of heaven is never adjourned, and no judge there is ever absent. Entrust your cause to Him who judges righteously.

Humanly speaking, it looks like you are facing an entire government, and you feel small by comparison. But consider this: if the Lord determines to deliver someone, He does not need a vast army or powerful connections to do it. He can bring about justice through a single ruling, a single moment, or a single change of heart. The power that stands against you in Nepal is not the ultimate authority. There is another government at work, the government of light and life, where Jesus Christ reigns supreme. And through His cross, He has already triumphed over every earthly and spiritual power that sets itself against His purposes.

It is possible to have the victory in your heart before you see it with your eyes. That does not mean pretending the delays and disappointments are not painful. It means choosing to anchor your hope in what God has promised rather than in what the court calendar shows. When the judge is absent again, that is the moment to let the truth of Scripture hold you steady. God’s promises can lift you from an attitude of defeat into an attitude of confident expectation. You can begin thanking Him now that your life is in His hands, not in the hands of any government official. As you praise Him, even while you wait, your own spirit is strengthened, and you are declaring that your trust rests in His ultimate authority.

Do not let the strain of this process wear down your faith or push you into despair. The enemy loves to use prolonged trials to convince us that God has forgotten us. But your case is not hidden from Him. Keep bringing it before Him, not as people without hope, but as those who belong to Christ’s kingdom. In Him, you have already been brought out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of light. That reality is more permanent than any visa or court verdict. It means your future does not finally rest on a judge’s schedule but on a God who does all things well.

Anchor your thoughts in the Scriptures. Let them remind you that the Lord has a long record of making a way where human eyes see none. When you feel fear or frustration rising, speak those promises back to Him in prayer. Ask Him to take what is beyond your control and to work in that courtroom in ways no one can predict. And as you wait, keep praising Him for the victory that is already secure in Christ, even before the gavel falls. He is able to bring resolution swiftly, and He will uphold you until you see it.

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this incredibly difficult and uncertain time. Our hearts have been heavy as we have lifted you, your family, and this critical court case before the Lord, asking Him to move mightily on your behalf. We have prayed for justice, for favor in the eyes of the court, and for God’s perfect timing to prevail—knowing that His plans for you are good and that He hears the cries of His children.

If the Lord has already intervened in this situation and granted you the victory you’ve been seeking, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report! Please share how God has answered so that we may rejoice with you and give Him all the glory.

If, however, the outcome has not yet been resolved, we want you to know that we are still standing with you. We will continue to pray fervently for a swift and just decision, for the Lord to soften the hearts of those in authority, and for His peace to guard your hearts as you wait. Please post this request again so that we may keep lifting it before our Heavenly Father, trusting that He is working even when we cannot see it.

May the Lord surround you with His comfort and strength in this season. We pray that He would open doors no one can shut and make a way where there seems to be no way. May His presence be your refuge, and may you feel His love carrying you through every moment of this journey. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
