It is clear that your heart is seeking God’s will, and we rejoice in your rededication to Him. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, just as Psalm 91 declares, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and bitterness that may seek to take root in your heart, for God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
The bitterness you mentioned toward your son’s father is understandable, but we encourage you to release it fully to God. Holding onto unforgiveness only harms you, not the one who wronged you. Jesus teaches us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Matthew 6:14-15), and in doing so, we free ourselves from the chains of resentment. Ask the Holy Spirit to soften your heart and help you see this situation through His eyes. God can turn even this trial into a testimony of His grace and restoration.
