A Tempted Saviour-Our Best Succour
Christ endures every temptation with us and strengthens us to overcome through His own suffering.
We join you in bringing these needs before our Heavenly Father in Jesus name and we thank you for calling upon His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is by His name that we are saved and heard, as it is written John 14:6 and Acts 4:12.

We hear your compassion for your ex and for the dear one facing tests tomorrow, and we understand how fear can take hold when there is a serious medical concern like blood clots and when test results are unknown. Scripture reminds us that God does not want us to live in fear, for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7, and we are told do not be afraid, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. We are also reminded to bring our anxieties to Him, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.

We also notice you refer to this man as your ex, and we want to gently and lovingly speak to that. We believe God designed romantic love to be expressed within the lifelong covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, and that courtship should be with the purpose of discerning marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, as it is written Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14. If this relationship involved intimacy outside of marriage, Scripture calls that fornication and calls us to flee from it and to pursue purity, 1 Corinthians 6:18. We do not know all the details of your situation, but we encourage you to seek the Lord for wisdom regarding boundaries and for His will for both of your lives, whether that be a godly reconciliation leading toward marriage if it honors Him, or a respectful release to follow His separate paths in holiness. In either case, praying for his healing with a pure and compassionate heart honors God, and we commend you for caring for his well being while trusting God with the future of the relationship.

We also hold fast to the truth that the Lord is our healer, as it is written Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3, and But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We pray for His healing touch while also encouraging both of these dear ones to continue following the wisdom and care of their medical providers, for God often works through those means as well.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this man who is suffering with clots and who is afraid. Lord, we ask You to remove fear from his heart and replace it with courage, strength, hope and steadfast faith in You. Let him feel Your presence close to him and know that You are his refuge and strength. We ask in Your mercy that You would touch his body and dissolve these clots according to Your will, restore his health, and give wisdom to those caring for him. Grant him peace that surpasses understanding.

We also lift up the dear one who has tests tomorrow. Lord, You know her and You know every detail of what she faces. We ask that You would calm her heart, guide the hands of those performing the tests, and let the results be favorable. We ask for Your healing on every level, body, mind and spirit, and for Your complete restoration right away if it be Your will. Help them both to trust You regardless of the outcome, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You, Romans 8:28.

Lord, we also pray for the one who brought this request, that You would fill her with Your peace, deepen her faith, and lead her in Your perfect will for relationships and for her own walk with You. Draw each one closer to Jesus and let Your name be glorified in their healing and in their lives. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.

We are holding both of these heavy concerns with you before the Lord. It is understandable to feel anxious when someone you care about is facing clots and another person you love has important tests tomorrow. Your compassion for them comes through clearly.

We are praying for courage and peace to replace fear, especially for your ex as he waits and worries about his health. Fear can feel overwhelming when the body is vulnerable, and we are asking God to draw near with His steady presence and to strengthen faith and hope in the days ahead. We are also lifting up the one having tests tomorrow, asking for God's care over her and for wisdom for those caring for her.

A practical way to love them well right now is to stay closely connected to their medical care. Please encourage them to keep following their doctors' guidance and to reach out promptly with any new concerns, and if you are able to help, offering to listen or to help write down questions for the appointments can be a real support. We continue to trust God alongside the help He provides through medical professionals.

Father, in Jesus name we bring these two dear ones to You. Please calm fear and grant courage, strength and hope, and bring Your healing and comfort in the way only You can. Guide the tests tomorrow and give wisdom to the medical teams, and help our friend to rest in Your care. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing these burdens before the throne of grace. There is a very natural disease, fear, which comes over the heart when the body is weak and danger seems near. The Lord meets that fear with a precious word, Fear you not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yea, I will help you, yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Take that text home in the hand of faith.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press us to seek a physician, but there is a greater healing which we must seek first. The blood of Jesus Christ, shed for many for the remission of sins, alone can give peace within and perfect peace even when sorrows surge around. Without shedding of blood is no remission, but with that blood there is full pardon and peace with God for every soul that trusts in Him. It is our prayer that both you and those for whom you pray may know that peace which comes through looking to Calvary and trusting the risen Lord who is on the throne.

We will pray for this man who suffers from clots, that the Lord in His mercy would remove fear from his heart and grant him courage and strength and a true hope and faith in Christ. We ask the Lord, who healeth the broken in heart and who is able to heal the body, to lay His hand upon him according to His wise and good will, to guide the physicians, and above all to draw him to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we may be saved. We pray also for her who is to have tests tomorrow, that the Lord would be near to her, calm her spirit, grant favor and wisdom to those who care for her, and work healing on every level as seems best to His infinite love. We ask not according to our own measure, but according to His mercy.

May the Lord turn your fear into faith, your weakness into an occasion for His strength to be made perfect. Leave your sorrow with Jesus, bear your sorrow with Him, and you shall find that He is a home for desolation, light for darkness and joy for despair. Cast down the weapons of unbelief and sue for peace with God through the peace speaking blood of Christ, and you shall be upheld.

Our Father in heaven, we bring before Thee these two who are in need of Thy help. Thou knowest the clots that cause fear and the tests that await. Strengthen, help and uphold as Thou hast promised. Take away all slavish fear and give courage, hope and living faith in Thy Son. Heal as Thou seest fit, and above all heal the soul by the blood of Jesus, that whatever the outcome of these trials, there may be perfect peace within because sin is pardoned and Thou art with us. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in bringing these needs before the Lord and thank you for sharing them so honestly.

We pray for your former companion who is afraid because of blood clots. We ask our Father in heaven to remove fear and to grant true courage, strength, hope and faith in Jesus Christ. As Scripture teaches, real courage is not mere boldness of words but a settled confidence in God who is mighty to save. We ask the Lord to comfort his heart, to calm his anxiety, and to grant wisdom to those caring for him. We pray for healing according to God's mercy, that if it is His will He would dissolve these clots and restore health, and above all that this trial would draw him to trust more deeply in Christ, whose blood was shed for the forgiveness of sins and who alone gives eternal life.

We also lift up the one who has tests tomorrow. We ask God to be near to her, to give peace tonight and to guide the hands of those who examine her. We pray for good results and for healing on every level, body, mind and soul, and that whatever the outcome she would know the tender care of Christ who loves us and gave Himself for us.

May the Lord grant you also peace as you wait and pray. Cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you, and continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word. We trust Him to do what is best and most loving, and we ask all these things in the name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for sharing these heavy burdens so openly. It is right to bring fear and sickness to the Lord in prayer, and He hears when His people call on Him in the name of Jesus.

Fear is a natural response when a loved one faces a serious medical condition like clots, and when test results are still unknown. Scripture shows us that fear, if it is allowed to settle in the heart, can lead to unbelief and keep us from the rest God wants to give. There is a promise of rest left for the people of God, a deep peace that comes from trusting Him fully. The question for each of us is whether our hearts are at rest in Him today.

The Bible also makes a distinction about fear. The true fear that brings wisdom is not dread of circumstances, but reverence for God, which is to love what He loves and to hate evil and turn from it. That kind of fear is the beginning and the sum of real knowledge because it puts God in His right place. On the other hand, the fear of man and the fear of circumstances brings a snare. It has caused even great people of faith to stumble. But whoever puts his trust in the Lord shall be safe.

The cure for anxiety and dread is the conscious awareness of God's presence. The Lord said to Joshua, be strong and of good courage, do not be afraid nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. David said the same in the psalm, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for You are with me. When we remember that He is with us, fear is dispelled. Strength and courage do not come from ourselves, but from knowing He is present and faithful to His promises.

We also remember that Jesus went about doing good and healing all manner of sickness and disease, and He is still compassionate toward those who suffer. We do not test God by demanding He act on our timetable, but we do come boldly and humbly asking for His mercy, trusting His wisdom and love to do what is best.

So let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear man who is afraid because of clots. We ask You to remove fear from his heart and replace it with courage, strength, hope and faith in You. Comfort him with the assurance of Your presence. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, according to Your mercy and will. Guide the hands of those who care for him and grant wisdom in every treatment decision. Help him to enter into Your rest and to know Your peace.

We also lift up the loved one who faces tests tomorrow. Lord, You know the anxiety that comes with waiting for results. We ask for Your peace to guard her heart and mind, for favorable results if it be Your will, and for healing on every level, physical, emotional and spiritual. Above all we ask that she would know You as Savior and Shepherd, and that she would trust You whatever the outcome. Help both of these dear people and the one who loves them to trust You more than the report of circumstances, and to find safety in You.

Continue to look to the Lord and to His precious promises. He has covered every need in Christ, and He is faithful. May He keep your heart at rest as you trust Him day by day.
