Beloved of All
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, please pray and intercede on my behalf for the following - a reconciliation with my father as I have been a bad daughter and neglected our relationship for a year now. I feel so bad for the pain I have caused in our relationship by distancing myself for feeling guilty and ashamed for not doing more with my life. - healing for my grandma who is in hospital with a lung infection. Pray that she is comfortable and free from pain. - that my job application will be accepted and that I’ll have an interview next week for this position. I can only do this with God’s grace and His courage and strength I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We hear your heart’s cry and stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting each of these burdens to the Lord who hears and answers. Your honesty about your struggles with your father reflects a repentant spirit, and we join you in seeking restoration, not only of your relationship but of your own heart as well.

First, we rebuke the enemy’s lies that have kept you in guilt and shame. The accuser would have you believe you are too far gone to repair what has been broken, but Scripture declares, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). You are not defined by your failures but by the grace of Christ, who reconciles us to God and to one another. Your desire to restore your relationship with your father is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work in you. We pray that the Lord would soften both your hearts, that pride would be broken, and that honest, loving communication would flow. May your father see your humility and respond with the same grace Christ has shown you. "Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do" (Colossians 3:13).

For your grandmother, we intercede with urgency, asking the Great Physician to bring healing to her body. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray for her comfort, that pain would be eased, and that she would sense the peace of Christ surrounding her, even in weakness. If it is His will, we ask for complete restoration, but above all, we entrust her into His care, knowing that whether in life or death, she belongs to Him. "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord" (James 5:13-14).

Regarding your job application, we declare that the Lord is your Provider and that He opens doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Anxiety over provision is a tool the enemy uses to distract you from trusting God, but we rebuke that spirit of fear in Jesus’ name. You are not alone in this process, the same God who clothes the lilies of the field and feeds the sparrows cares for you (Matthew 6:26-30). We pray that your application would stand out, that the interview would go well, and that you would have peace regardless of the outcome, knowing that God’s plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Walk in confidence, not in your own strength, but in His.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to Your throne. Lord, we lift up this sister to You, asking that You would break every chain of guilt and shame that has kept her from walking in the fullness of Your love. Heal her relationship with her father, Lord. Let forgiveness flow like a river, and let pride be washed away by humility. For her grandmother, we ask for Your healing touch. If it is Your will, restore her health, but above all, draw her close to You. Comfort her with Your presence, and let her feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

For this job opportunity, Lord, we ask that You would open the right doors. Give her favor with those who will interview her, and let her trust in You alone for provision. Strengthen her faith, Lord, so that she may walk in courage and resilience, not by her own might, but by Your Spirit. We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement in Jesus’ name. Fill her with Your peace, joy, and hope, knowing that You are working all things together for her good.

We thank You, Father, that You are a God who restores, heals, and provides. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May this sister feel Your love surrounding her, and may she walk in the freedom that comes from knowing she is forgiven, cherished, and called by You. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

Dear sister,

We read your request and are holding you before the Lord. It hurts to look back and feel we’ve wounded a relationship we treasure, especially with a parent. The shame you’re carrying is real, but that ache is proof your love for your dad hasn’t dimmed; it’s just been tangled up in guilt. That nudge can be God’s kindness, calling you to reconnect, not a verdict on who you are.

A simple, brave step might be to send him a short message or handwritten note. You don’t need to have all the right words. Something as gentle as “I’ve missed you and I’m sorry I’ve been distant. I’d love to talk when you’re ready” can begin to soften what feels so hard. Parents often long to hear exactly that, even after a long silence.

We’re also praying earnestly for your grandmother, that she feels God’s comfort and real relief from pain as she fights the lung infection. If you’re able to visit or call, your voice might be a sweet gift to her right now.

For the job: prepare what you can, then lean hard on God’s grace. Courage doesn’t always feel big; sometimes it’s just showing up and trusting He’s already ahead of you, whether the interview comes next week or later.

Let’s pray.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this sister and her family. Thank You that her heart is still toward her father. Give her steady courage to reach out, and soften the way toward reconciliation. Hold her grandmother close, ease her breathing, take away the pain, and restore her strength. Guide the job process; open the door You have for her and fill her with Your peace while she waits. We rest in Your mercy for all of it. Amen.

We’re with you in this, and we trust God is moving.

When guilt is taken away by the blood of Jesus, the guile that hides from confession is taken away also. The Spirit removes the deceit that once made you cover your sin and flee from those you have wronged. Now you see the heinousness of your neglect, and that very shame can be the means of driving you to seek both the face of God and the face of your father. Fill your faces with shame, that you may seek the name of the Lord, and when you have sought Him, go and seek reconciliation with your earthly father, for God has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. He has prepared everything necessary for perfect peace. Do not delay; bury your head in your Father's bosom, receive His kiss of forgiveness, and then let that same humility carry you to the one whose heart you have wounded. The relationship of a father is not easily broken; a father remains a father still.

Behold the authority of your plea when you pray for your grandmother who lies in that hospital bed. You come before your God, your covenant God, your Father, your Friend. When you can talk with God as your own God, that is power in prayer. He is the Father of the fatherless and the protector of the weak. Pray for her comfort, pray for her freedom from pain, and pray with the undaunted courage of Daniel, who knew his God and therefore could not miss. Every arrow finds its mark when the plea is made before Him. He hears you always, even as the Father heard the Son.

And as for that position you seek, remember that the true view of the Father is this: He is your Father, your God, your Savior's Father and God. He delights to bless His children. Cast this care upon Him; a child does not know what the day may require, but the heavenly Father knows. Trust Him for the interview, trust Him for the outcome. Stand firm in the work He gives you to do, and do it with dependence upon His strength. May the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ deal with you according to His riches in glory, and may you find Him a better Father than the best of earthly fathers could ever be.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
