Colossians 3:23 We are also reminded But remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth. Deuteronomy 8:18 and My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Your request for provision as you begin this work with website domains has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who made heaven and earth.
We pray that the blessing you seek would come from its true and peculiar quarter, for the double blessing of grace and peace comes from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. No spiritual blessing comes to any man by chance, and He has promised to bless His people just where they need blessing, where they are poorest in spiritual things. We ask Him to bless you with wisdom, diligence and integrity as you labor, and to supply what you need according to His good will.
You have spoken of the blood of Jesus, and that is our only hope. That blood is the covenant blessing by which we are cleansed from all our filthiness and from all our idols, and made willing in the day of His power. If you have not already done so, trust wholly in Christ alone for salvation, for there is no other name by which we are saved, and then you will know the fullness of this blessing, that you are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth.
We also pray that you may find true comfort not merely in ease or in having no worries for a season, but in blessing the Lord with your soul. It should be our life to bless Him who gave us our life, and to keep on blessing God till the last hour of life. When the heart is tuned to bless the Lord, murmuring is cast out and thankfulness takes its place.
Remember that when God blesses a man He makes that man to be a blessing to others. As one who is engaged in business, like her of whom it is written that she was engaged in business on her own account and had a house where she sold her purple, you are placed where you are to be a blessing there. Are you a tradesman? Are you not put behind the counter to be a blessing there? Whether by honest dealing, fair speech, and faithful work, you can set up a standard for the truth of God and win hearts to Him through His mighty grace blessing your service.
So we pray that the Lord would guide your hands in this business, that it may be established in honesty and uprightness, that He would provide for your needs and teach you contentment in whatever He appoints, and that you would be kept from making an idol of gain or of comfort itself. May He cause you to walk in His statutes, and may your life and your labour alike be to His glory.
We commend you to His almighty power, who can speak into darkness and cheer the gloom, and who will not suffer one single promise of the covenant to be unfulfilled to those who are in Christ. May the Lord add His blessing, for Jesus sake.
