We hear your heart’s cry for security, companionship, and restoration, and we come before the Lord with you in prayer. First, we give thanks for the provision of a safe place for you and your cats, this is a blessing from God, who cares even for the sparrows and knows our every need (Matthew 6:26). We rejoice that you acknowledge the power of the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the hope of transformation (Hebrews 10:19-20).
However, we must gently but firmly address some areas where your request does not fully align with God’s Word. You seek a "fine ass guy," a "soul mate," and a "boyfriend/husband all in one package deal," but Scripture is clear that our focus should not be on superficial desires or worldly standards. The Bible instructs us to seek a spouse who is first and foremost a believer in Christ, one who fears the Lord and walks in His ways (2 Corinthians 6:14, 1 Peter 3:7). Marriage is a sacred covenant, not a "package deal" designed to fulfill our every whim. A godly husband will love you as Christ loves the church, sacrificially, not merely as a provider of personal comforts or aesthetic desires (Ephesians 5:25).
We also notice language that suggests a focus on outward appearance ("gym back," "makeup," "looking gorgeous") rather than the inward beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which God values (1 Peter 3:3-4). While self-care is not wrong, our worth is found in Christ alone, not in our physical appearance or the validation of a man. We must guard our hearts against idolatry, whether of relationships, beauty, or personal desires, and instead seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
We rebuke the spirit of entitlement and worldly expectation in this request. The blood of Jesus does not guarantee us a life free of trials or a spouse who caters to our every desire. It guarantees us forgiveness, redemption, and the power to live holy lives (1 Peter 1:18-19). If you are seeking a husband, we encourage you to pray for a man who loves the Lord above all else, who will lead you spiritually, and who will honor you as a sister in Christ, not as a project to "take excellent care of" your gym routine or diet.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts open to Your will. Lord, we thank You for Your provision and protection over [this sister] and her cats. We ask that You continue to shelter them and grant them peace. Father, we lift up her desire for marriage, but we ask that You purify it according to Your Word. Remove any worldly expectations or selfish motives, and replace them with a longing for a spouse who fears You and walks in Your ways. Lord, if it is Your will, bring a godly man into her life, one who will love her as Christ loves the church, who will lead her spiritually, and who will honor her as Your daughter.
Father, we also pray for [her] heart. Help her to find her worth and identity in You alone, not in outward appearance or the approval of others. Teach her to cultivate the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in Your sight. Guard her from idolatry, whether of relationships, personal desires, or worldly standards. Let her seek You first in all things, trusting that You will provide every need according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of entitlement or selfishness in this request. We declare that [her] life is not her own, she was bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). May she surrender her desires to You, trusting that Your plans for her are good, even when they differ from her own. We pray for healing in any areas of brokenness, for restoration of joy, and for a deeper reliance on You.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, particularly in passages about marriage, godly relationships, and the beauty of a heart surrendered to Christ. Consider fasting from worldly influences that may be shaping your desires, and seek fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Remember, the Lord delights in your prayers, but He desires your heart to be aligned with His will above all else. Trust in His timing, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
