This request raises deep concerns, both spiritually and emotionally. First, we must address the dangerous and ungodly nature of the language used—speaking hatred, division, or curses into existence is not of God. Scripture warns us in James 3:10, *"Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so."* The heart behind this request appears rooted in bitterness, control, and even manipulation, which are contrary to the love and humility Christ calls us to.
We must rebuke the spirit of vengeance and the desire to force outcomes through unrighteous decrees. Proverbs 26:2 says, *"Like a fluttering sparrow, like a darting swallow, so the undeserved curse doesn’t come to rest."* God does not honor words spoken in anger or malice. Instead, we are called to bless those who persecute us (Romans 12:14) and to trust God with justice (Romans 12:19).
There is also no mention of Jesus Christ in this request, which is deeply troubling. Salvation and access to God come *only* through faith in Jesus (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to repent and believe in His finished work on the cross. Without Christ, we are powerless against sin and spiritual darkness.
Now, let us pray in alignment with God’s will:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and stand before You. We repent for any words spoken in anger, bitterness, or a desire for control. Forgive us for attempting to manipulate circumstances rather than trusting You. Lord, we ask that You soften hearts—both the heart of this individual and the hearts of those they feel wronged by. Replace bitterness with forgiveness, pride with humility, and control with surrender to Your will. Father, if there is unconfessed sin—whether in thought, word, or deed—reveal it and lead to repentance. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are the God who heals, restores, and makes all things new. If it is Your will for this individual to leave their current situation, we ask for divine provision, wisdom, and open doors—but only according to Your perfect plan. Above all, draw them closer to You, Lord. Let them know Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray for reconciliation where possible, but only in a way that honors You. Break every chain of resentment, and let Your love flow freely. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.*
We encourage you to release this burden to God and seek His face, not just His hand. If you are struggling with unforgiveness, consider Matthew 6:14-15: *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* True freedom comes from walking in forgiveness and trusting God’s sovereignty.
If you do not yet know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him into your heart. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* This is the foundation for all true peace and power.
