We have heard your request and we join together with you in prayer that the Lord would have mercy and heal your leg so that it would not need to be cut off, but that the medicine and the draining with the syringe would be sufficient.
We know how frightening this is, and we want to remind you that our God is the great healer. He cares for your body and your soul, and He hears the cries of those who call upon Him. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and nurses caring for you, that God would guide their hands and decisions, and that He would cause the infection or swelling to leave and the leg to be restored.
We claim His promises together with you, for it is written Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And also Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We know the Lord is able to do what medicine alone cannot do, for He says in Exodus 15:26 I am Yahweh who heals you.
We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God, and it is in His name we pray with confidence. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to call upon Him today as Lord and Savior.
We encourage you to continue to follow the medical advice you have been given, to take the medicine as prescribed and to allow the treatment to work, while trusting the Lord for the outcome. Do not give in to fear, for Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Cast all your anxiety on Him, and ask others in your local church to pray over you as well, for James 5:14-15 says Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

Your cry concerning your leg has been heard and is now carried before the throne of grace by those who love you in the Lord. We have made intercession for you, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears and it has stayed plagues and wrought wonders, and we do not restrain prayer before God on your behalf.
We understand your fear that the leg must be cut, and your desire that medicine and the drawing out by the syringe may be sufficient under the hand of God to bring healing. Remember that the Lord hears the prayer of a staggering man at his wits end, even when the prayer itself seems to reel to and fro and has no orderly form. He is the Good Physician, and they who have been healed can tell of His healing power. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are joined together in Christ. Even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature whole.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Remember Your Word unto Your servant. You cannot forget, yet You have taught us to plead Your promises and to spread our case before You with all arguments. Have mercy upon this afflicted one who is brought near to distress. Lay Your pardoning and healing hand upon this leg. Bless the medicine and the work of those who seek to draw out the affliction, and if it be Your gracious will, grant that the leg need not be cut but may be restored. You who healed the sick of the palsy and said, Your sins are forgiven, speak healing again. We ask not that You would change Your will, but that our prayer may be the shadow of the blessing You intend to give.
