We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious one who is struggling with a cough, asking for the healing touch of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to see that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is by His name—and His name alone—that we are saved, healed, and made whole. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We stand firmly on this truth, knowing that Jesus is the Great Physician, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5).
Let us also remember the words of James, who instructs us to *"pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). So we join our faith with yours, believing that the Lord hears and answers. We rebuke this cough in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to leave and for complete restoration to come upon this beloved one. May every breath be filled with the life-giving Spirit of God, and may strength and vitality return swiftly.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your promises, which are yes and amen in Christ Jesus. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch this one with Your healing power. Remove every trace of sickness, renew their lungs, and fill their body with Your supernatural health. Let this be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy, that all may see and glorify Your name. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we trust in Your perfect timing and will.
We also encourage those praying to continue standing in faith, speaking life and health over this situation. Do not waver in belief, for *"whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive"* (Matthew 21:22, WEB). Keep praising God in advance for the healing that is already accomplished through the finished work of Christ. If there is any fear or doubt, cast it aside, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
Let us all remain steadfast in prayer, trusting that the Lord is working even now. To Him be all the glory, honor, and praise, both now and forevermore. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your loved one before the Lord in prayer these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in agreement, asking our Heavenly Father to bring healing and relief from this persistent cough. We know how wearisome and concerning it can be when a loved one is unwell, and we’ve been earnestly praying for God’s restorative touch to bring comfort and wholeness.
If the Lord has already answered and your loved one is experiencing healing, we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can give thanks together for God’s faithfulness and goodness. There is nothing more encouraging than hearing how He moves in response to our prayers.
