Beloved of All
Just literally shocked at the way this world is headed How people call evil good and good evil, wicked so called believers calling themselves Christians yet do shocking things to prove the evilness in them. How the devil loves to try to rob a true Christian every way he can. Come soon Lord and put a stop to debauchery now. Have mercy amen

We share your deep distress as we witness the accelerating moral decay in this world, where the lines between good and evil are not just blurred but deliberately inverted. The prophet Isaiah warned of this very thing: "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20). It is grievous to see those who claim the name of Christ yet live in ways that dishonor Him, giving the enemy footholds to mock the faith and lead others astray. The apostle Paul exhorted us, "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them" (Ephesians 5:11). We must stand firm in the truth, even as the world celebrates what God calls sin.

The devil is indeed a thief, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we take heart in the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). This is not our home, and the darkness we see now only makes the coming light of Christ's return more glorious. Until then, we are called to be salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16), preserving what is good and shining truth in the midst of deception. The Lord's patience is not slackness but mercy, giving more time for repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Yet we cry out with you, "Even so, come, Lord Jesus!" (Revelation 22:20).

Let us pray together in this hour:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieving over the wickedness that surrounds us. We ask for Your mercy to restrain the evil in this world and to soften the hearts of those who have been deceived by it. Lord, expose the lies of the enemy and bring conviction where there is hardness of heart. Strengthen Your true Church to stand firm in Your Word, to live holy lives that reflect Your glory, and to boldly proclaim the truth in love. Protect us from discouragement and fill us with hope as we await Your return. Purify us, Lord, and help us to be faithful witnesses in this dark hour. We long for the day when You will make all things new and wipe away every tear. Until then, give us the courage to resist the devil and the wisdom to discern his schemes. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and coming King, we pray. Amen.

Take heart, dear brother or sister. The night is darkest just before the dawn. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). The Lord sees your grief over the state of the world, and He will reward your faithfulness. Stand strong, for the battle belongs to Him.

We hear the weariness in your words, and we understand. Looking around at a world that flips good and evil can make a heart ache, especially when the pain seems to come from within the church itself. That shock and that grief are real, and you are not alone in them. The early believers cried out “Maranatha”, our Lord, come, because they too longed for Jesus to set everything right. That cry is not a sign of weak faith; it is the honest cry of someone who loves what God loves and hates what God hates.

Sometimes the sheer weight of it all tempts us to pull back in despair. But a quiet step can help: when the burden feels heaviest, we can simply turn the anguish into prayer for the very people and situations that grieve us. That doesn’t mean we endorse what is wrong, but it steadies our own hearts. We’ve also found that joining with others in worship, even when we don’t feel like it, has a way of lifting the fog. Singing truth together, aloud, reminds us that the battle belongs to the Lord and that He is still on the throne. It is a small, hopeful act that pushes back the darkness inside us.

Take heart. The devil is a robber, yes, but he is already defeated. Every time we refuse to let the shock paralyze us and instead offer it back to God in prayer or praise, we stand firm.

Let us pray with you now:

Lord Jesus, our brother is weary from watching evil parade as good. Sustain him. Guard his heart from hopelessness and fill him with Your peace that passes understanding. Help him to fix his eyes on You, the author and finisher of our faith, until the day You make all things new. In Your mighty name we ask it, amen.

The world has ever been a place where evil parades as good, and this ought not to surprise the child of God, for it is written that Christ Himself is "a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offense." When men call darkness light, they but fulfill the very prophecy of the Lord of Hosts. And as for those who wear the name of Christian yet do shocking things, remember, there are many whose prayers are hypocritical, who bow the knee yet rise up to strike their brethren. The devil indeed seeks to rob every true believer, but he is a defeated foe, Christ's work is finished, and the redemption of His Church is perfected. Not one of those for whom He intercedes shall be lost, for He ever lives to plead for them.

Yet take heed that this world's corruption does not breed in you a spirit of harshness or despair. The Apostle bids us to do all things without murmuring and disputing, that we may be blameless and harmless, shining as lights in the world. More is expected from you because you are of a high pedigree, born from above. Let your light shine with bold decision for Christ, but without courting controversy. And if you have grown weary or cold, hear the urgent voice crying, "Return, return!" Return to your first love, to the happy love of your espousals, to your first ardor in service. The world calls you to return to its vanities, but the Beloved of your soul calls you to return to Him.

In this busy, corrupted age, take the precious gift of rest which Christ gives. Come to Him anew, and He will give you rest from your fretting over the evil day. Lay hold of His finished work, for there is no mortgage upon Christ's inheritance; those He bought with blood are forever clear. Plead with God for mercy upon this generation, and do so with that mighty argument, "For Christ's sake." He who intercedes for the uncalled and the straying knows those who are His, even when hope seems lost. But do not merely pray, speak the Word, contend earnestly for the faith, and let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly. Be much with your Bibles, that you may profit and be a blessing.

Cry indeed, "Come, Lord Jesus!" and let that cry be joined with a holy life. The world will hate you, as it hated Him, but He is a sanctuary to believers. For Christ's sake, serve Him with all your might, and do not grow lazy. Before long, we shall be where the messenger of mercy no longer calls, and the bell of eternity rings its dreadful knell. Therefore, while you wait, let the Peace of God be your armor, and be thankful.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your shock at the world’s corruption is a sign of a soul awake to righteousness. When you see evil called good and good evil, remember that this world is called “worldly” because it is open to all, even to those who hate the truth. Do not be surprised, then, if some who bear Christ’s name live in a manner that denies Him. The devil is always at work, seeking to rob the faithful of every good thing. But did not Paul labor and suffer reproach? And are you impatient? If worldly goods, which perish, are never gained without toil, how much more the spiritual! God has promised, and that hope does not make ashamed.

So cry out, “Have mercy on me!” like that distressed mother, for in her daughter’s sickness she felt her own pain. The Lord hears such a plea. Yet know this: we who ask for mercy must first show mercy. Nothing is so characteristic of a Christian. He will bless you if you do things worthy of blessing, if you show mercy to your neighbor. For the unmerciful will receive judgment without mercy.

Do not merely wish for Christ to come and stop the debauchery, though that day is surely hastening. The tribulation of those days will be great, but shortened for the elect’s sake. Until then, let us deny ungodliness and worldly lusts. These too are idols, whatever things perish with the present life. Denying them means the greatest distance, the greatest hatred. Christ came that we should deny them, not merely avoid them.

So strengthen your heart. The Lord grant you to find mercy in that day. He who had compassion on others shall have the like return when we all stand in need of much mercy. Let this faithful saying be worthy of all acceptation: labor, suffer reproach if need be, but above all, be merciful, for the merciful shall obtain mercy.
