Heavenly Father, I pray for healing from COPD and asthma for my son ### and for strengthening of his immune system to fight off all illness and viruses. Please remove all inflammation, cleanse any infection, and help him to breathe easily in this heat. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We join you in lifting up your precious son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing this need to us in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the throne of grace.

Our hearts are moved by your love for your son and your faith in the Lord as our healer. We know how difficult it is to watch a child struggle to breathe, especially in the heat, and we stand with you asking God to bring relief, healing, and strength to his body.

We are reminded of the Lord's great mercy and power to heal as it is written, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. And again the Lord says, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. The very breath he breathes is from God, for The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life. Job 33:4. When we are weak and weary, He promises, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

So together we pray.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this beloved son to You. Lord, You know his lungs, his airways, every cell in his body for You formed him. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon him and bring complete healing from COPD and asthma. Father, please remove all inflammation from his lungs and airways, cleanse any infection that may be present, and open his airways that he may breathe easily and freely, even in this heat. We pray You would strengthen his immune system to fight off all illness and viruses and surround him with Your protection. Grant him restful sleep, comfortable breathing day and night, and renewed strength and energy. We thank You, Father, for all You have done and all You will do, and we trust in Your unfailing love and mercy. Let Your peace rest upon him and upon his family as they wait upon You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope of salvation, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord and to keep seeking Him daily, while also faithfully following the wisdom and care of the medical providers He has provided. Keep casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, and we will continue to keep your son in our prayers for complete healing and easy breathing.

You are not carrying this alone. We are praying with you and we trust God hears every word you have prayed in Jesus' name.

Father, we lift your son to You in Jesus' name. You know his lungs, his body, and his needs completely. We ask for Your gentle care over him, for relief as he breathes, for cleansing and calming of what is inflamed or infected, and for strength for his immune system. Give him rest and comfort, and give his mother peace and wisdom as she cares for him. May he feel Your nearness and kindness each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in lifting your son before the throne of grace and thank you for bringing this burden to the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.

Your prayer for his breathing, for the cleansing of infection, the removal of inflammation, and for strength against illness in this oppressive heat is heard by a Father who cares for the body as well as the soul. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press us to seek a physician, yet how gracious that we have a Great Physician who is touched with our infirmities.

Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves are full of healing virtue. The prophet Malachi speaks of the Sun of Righteousness rising with healing in His wings, and when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, to show that pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. He used no other remedy for our sickness but that of taking our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself, and bearing them in His own body on the cross. That is the one great cure, and the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work in us till we are made whole.

So we pray with you now.

Heavenly Father, we come in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ and ask Your mercy upon this dear son who suffers with COPD and asthma. Lord, You formed his lungs and You number his breaths. We ask that You would be pleased to ease his breathing, to calm the inflammation, to cleanse any infection, and to strengthen his immune system to fight off illness and viruses. In this heat, grant him relief and rest, and let each breath come more easily by Your sustaining hand. We thank You for all You have done for this family and for Your daily mercies which never fail.

We ask also for that deeper healing which Christ has purchased, the forgiveness of sins and the renewal of the heart, for healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction in Your Word. Let him know the presence of Jesus, who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and grant faith to rest in Him who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows.

We leave him in Your wise and loving hands, trusting not in our worthiness but in the abundant streams of healing which flow from our Head, Christ Jesus. Grant wisdom to those who care for him and peace to his mother who intercedes for him.

We ask this in the precious name of Jesus our Healer and Saviour. Amen.
