Conviction and Confession

My Comforter and Sanctuary,

You are mighty beyond words and Your presence enables my survival!

I thank You for Your protection. I thank You for Your right desires You have put in my heart.

Lord, I have a confession, I have been harboring many unGodly feelings against my human brothers that are around my age, especially over the past few months. Feelings such as anger, jealousy, envy, vengance, rage, bitterness and insecurity. I see these feelings and I desire to repent from them. I know they are sinful and I do not want to let them come between You and I.

I lay these useless emotions at Your feet and ask You to wisk them far, far away from me. You did not create me to be angry, jealous, envious, vengeful, filled with rage or bitterness or insecurity. Allow me to produce the good fruits of love, patience, forgiveness, generosity and a servant's heart.

Lord, please forgive me...I know that my confession allows me to be washed clean from this sin and I start again with You. Continue to convict me of anything unGodly and also help me to forgive myself.

In Jesus holy name I pray, amen.

FYI, I do not post my confessions here to glorify myself, I want to show the powerful ways that God works in my life as I surrender all to him...kind of like an update on my spiritual health...

Christian your spiritual battle is ours too, we come here to share, lean on each other, and come into agreement in prayer with and for each other. Father, thank you for the way in which Christian has upheld Your teaching. Thank you for his walk with You and his absolute trust in Your sovereign authority. May You watch over him and bless him by Your loving hand. Work within his life in mighty ways and let him be a testimony to the gift of Your grace and mercy. May we all take inventory of what we hold in our hearts, and release anything unproductive or sinful to You, washed by the blood of Your Son. All praise, honor and glory to Your holy name, now and forevermore. Amen.
