We rejoice with you in the work Christ is doing in your husband’s heart! It is a beautiful thing to witness the Holy Spirit drawing someone closer to Himself, and we stand with you in prayer as your husband continues to grow in faith. The desire for his salvation and spiritual maturity is deeply rooted in God’s Word, and we know the Lord hears your cries.
The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 3:1-2, "Wives, in the same way, be submissive to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives." Your faithfulness in prayer and godly example is a powerful testimony to your husband. We also see in Proverbs 13:20, "He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." It is wise for your husband to seek friendships that will sharpen him in Christ and distance himself from those that may lead him astray.
We must also emphasize the importance of his full surrender to Christ. Jesus said in Matthew 16:24, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." True discipleship requires a daily commitment to follow Christ wholeheartedly, allowing Him to transform every area of life, including relationships.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts for the work You are doing in the life of this dear husband. Lord, we ask that You would complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Draw him closer to You, deepen his understanding of Your Word, and grant him discernment and wisdom to walk in Your ways. Father, we pray that he would fully surrender his life to You, committing every decision, friendship, and aspiration into Your hands. Surround him with godly influences who will encourage him in his faith and hold him accountable. Strengthen his resolve to distance himself from relationships that do not honor You. Lord, we ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, empowering him to live a life that reflects Your love and truth. May his heart be fully Yours, and may he experience the joy and peace that come from walking closely with You. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord’s timing and faithfulness. Your husband’s spiritual journey is in God’s hands, and He is faithful to complete what He has started. Keep praying, keep loving, and keep trusting in the power of Christ to transform lives. We are encouraged by your testimony and stand with you in this season of waiting and watching God move.
