Continued Prayer for Mercy and Marriage Restoration

Please continue praying for mercy, healing, and restoration over my wife ### and me and our marriage. She's with another man and I long for restoration and us to be together again. Please restore her heart to God and to me. Looking for hope and clarity and whether to keep praying for restoration, because God is a God of the impossible and can heal anything and hates divorce, or let go if that's God's will and He doesn't want to restore us and has something else in mind. Want to do His will above all else and it's unclear to me at this point. Circumstances overwhelmingly point to giving up, and I'm standing in the gap because I love her and believe restoration is possible even now, but I don't want to stand against God, but with Him, if that makes sense. Please help. Need peace and clarity, peace above all, to be led, empowered by Holy Spirit. Thank you.

We stand with you in this painful and uncertain season, lifting your heart and your marriage before the Lord with deep compassion. Your love for your wife and your desire to honor God above all else is evident, and we join you in fervent prayer for His mercy, healing, and restoration. The weight of this trial is heavy, but we serve a God who specializes in the impossible, and we declare that nothing is too hard for Him.

First, we want to affirm the biblical foundation of marriage as a covenant before God, a sacred bond that reflects Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:25-33). God hates divorce not because He is cruel, but because it tears apart what He has joined together (Malachi 2:16). Yet we also recognize that sin and brokenness have entered this marriage, and we must address it with truth and grace. Your wife’s involvement with another man is a violation of God’s design for marriage, and we must rebuke the enemy’s schemes that seek to destroy what God has established. The Bible is clear: "Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Adultery is a grievous sin, but we also know that repentance and restoration are possible through the blood of Jesus.

We pray for your wife’s heart to be softened and convicted by the Holy Spirit. May she turn away from this sin and return to the Lord and to you with a repentant heart. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We also pray for you, that you would be filled with the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). It is not wrong to long for restoration, but we must surrender this desire to the Lord and trust Him to lead you. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

The circumstances may seem overwhelming, but we encourage you to stand firm in faith, not in your own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit. "Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand" (Ephesians 6:13). This battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness, and we must fight with prayer, the Word of God, and the authority we have in Jesus’ name. We rebuke the spirit of adultery, deception, and division that has entered this marriage, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We declare that God is able to restore what has been broken and to heal what has been wounded.

Yet we must also acknowledge that restoration may not look the way we expect. God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). We pray for clarity and wisdom for you, that you would know when to stand and when to let go, always aligning your heart with His will. "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). If restoration is God’s will, He will make a way where there seems to be no way. If it is not His will, He will give you the strength to walk in obedience and peace.

We also want to address the importance of your own spiritual walk during this time. It is easy to become consumed by the pain and uncertainty, but we encourage you to draw near to God, seeking His presence and His Word daily. "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded" (James 4:8). Guard your heart against bitterness, unforgiveness, or resentment, for these will only hinder your relationship with God and your ability to hear His voice. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32).

We pray for you now, lifting your marriage and your heart before the throne of grace:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage and this man who is seeking Your will above all else. Lord, You see the pain, the confusion, and the longing for restoration. We ask for Your mercy to cover this marriage and for Your healing power to restore what has been broken. Father, we pray for this wife, that You would convict her heart of sin and draw her back to You. Soften her heart, Lord, and let her see the error of her ways. Bring her to repentance and restore her to You and to her husband.

We rebuke the spirit of adultery and deception that has entered this marriage, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We declare that what God has joined together, no man—or spirit—can separate. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill this man’s heart, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Give him clarity and wisdom to know Your will, and the strength to stand firm in faith. If restoration is Your plan, make a way where there seems to be no way. If it is not Your will, give him the grace to walk in obedience and trust You with the outcome.

Father, we also pray for protection over this man’s heart. Guard him against bitterness, unforgiveness, and resentment. Fill him with Your love and Your truth, and let him find his identity and worth in You alone. Empower him by Your Holy Spirit to walk in righteousness and to be a light in this dark situation. Lord, we trust You with this marriage, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We surrender this situation to You, asking that Your will be done and Your name be glorified.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Spend time in worship, allowing His presence to fill you and His peace to guard your heart. Surround yourself with godly counsel and community, those who will pray with you and speak truth into your life. Remember, God is not distant or indifferent to your pain. He collects every tear and hears every cry (Psalm 56:8). Trust Him with this process, and know that He is working even when you cannot see it.

If your wife is open to it, we encourage you to seek biblical counseling together, with a pastor or counselor who can guide you both in repentance, forgiveness, and restoration. Restoration is possible, but it requires humility, repentance, and a willingness to submit to God’s Word. "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16).

Above all, keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of your faith, and He will lead you through this valley. "Looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Hebrews 12:2). You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you, believing that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.

I have prayed for you in Jesus name.

**Please pray for your fellow Christian/Saints on the board as Ephesians 6:18 commands.

"Pray at all times in the Spirit, with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this, with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints"

We're right here with you, brother, holding your marriage and your heart before the Lord. We've been praying, and we want to encourage you with these words:

First, keep trusting in God's love for you and your wife. He sees your pain, and He cares deeply. He's not distant or indifferent, but He's working even when you can't see it. Remember, He's a God of the impossible, and nothing is too hard for Him.

Next, keep seeking His will above your own. It's okay to long for restoration, but make sure your desires align with His. Spend time in prayer and His Word, asking Him to give you clarity and peace about the way forward.

Also, keep loving your wife as Christ loves the church. That doesn't mean enabling her sin, but it does mean praying for her, forgiving her as God forgives you, and trusting that God can change her heart. Pray that she would turn away from this sin and return to the Lord and to you.

Lastly, take care of yourself too. Make sure you're spending time in God's presence, seeking His forgiveness when you need it, and guarding your heart against bitterness or resentment. Surround yourself with godly friends who can support and encourage you.

We're believing with you for restoration, but remember, God's ways are higher than our ways. Trust Him, even if the outcome isn't what you hope for. He's got you, and He's working all things together for your good and His glory.

Keep fighting the good fight, brother. We're standing with you, praying for you, and believing in the power of God to heal and restore.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Yes God hates divorce and the book of Hosea has promises we can claim in Jesus over ourselves, our spouse, our family and our relationships.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.
