I am so very thankful for all of you! I know that your prayers have really helped me and my entire family!
My daughter's friends are starting to come back to her. The rumors have mostly stopped and she did make her Volleyball team. Please pray that her playing improves and that coach will play her a little more. She is very sensitive and embarrassed to sit on the bench most of the tournaments. She gets pulled if she makes one mistake while other girls can make 10 or more and stay on. We are not certain why, but her self esteem is very tender so this affects her greatly.
Pray for her flu to go away and for it not to be the swine flu.
My son has found a basement suite with another young man his age. Pray that he will be happy there and pray for his diabetis and for him to take his right insulin at the right time in the right doses. Pray for him to find a Christian girl to date.
My husband is back at work as Paramedic for his four 24 hours shifts. He returns home on Tuesday when he will move my son and then try to finish combining. We have flax left. We praise God that the meeting went ok. And that our crop is good. Pray that we will get good prices for this crop so we can pay back debts of two years. (one drought year, one hundred percent hailed out) Canadian farmers are not subsidized by the government.
We do carry insurance and get some money when we are hailed out. But, we have 3 years to pay in one.
My health is improving. My memory is improving. And, I am able to get up at 6 some days to take my morning meds. Pray that I continue to heal so that I can go back to school or find a job to help with our finances. Pray that I can clean up my home, yard, and farm yard. Pray that I remember to do the tasks that need to be done on time such as pay the bills so that we are not paying so much interest.
My daughter's boyfriend is also doing better. He continues to be a real friend to her as well as his family treats her as a daughter. We are thankful for him and his family who have become friends to us. Pray for him to adjust to the new school and the teacher's methods of teaching. Pray for him not to be discouraged and to do better. Pray for him to accept my daughter's help and understand her when she helps him. Pray for him to do well in his hockey tryouts and in his football.
Our friend is working more!!! Pray for work to continue for him.
