We lift your precious daughter before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, asking our Heavenly Father to intervene in her suffering. The discomfort and distress of constipation can weigh heavily on the body and spirit, and we stand in the gap for her, believing in the Lord’s healing power. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we ask You, Lord, to ease her pain and restore her body to full function. Your Word tells us that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18), so we trust that You are with her in this hospital room, holding her close.
Father, we also ask for wisdom and compassion for the medical team attending to her. Give them insight into her condition and guide their hands as they provide care. Let every treatment, every decision, and every moment of care be ordered by You, Lord, for Your glory. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We pray for patience and peace for your daughter as she waits on Your timing, and we ask that You would comfort her mind and heart, reminding her that she is never alone.
We must also lift up her spiritual well-being, for physical healing is only part of Your perfect will. If she has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus Christ, we pray that this trial would draw her to the foot of the cross. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we ask that she would come to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, if she hasn’t already. May this time of vulnerability soften her heart to receive the gift of salvation, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If she already knows You, Lord, we ask that You would deepen her faith and trust in You, even in the midst of pain.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be trying to take hold of her or your family during this time. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that she is covered by the blood of Jesus. We speak healing over her body, restoration to her digestive system, and peace to her mind. Let her feel Your presence in tangible ways, Lord, and let her know that she is deeply loved by You.
We also pray for you, as her parent, that You would be strengthened in this trial. It is not easy to watch a child suffer, and we ask that You would feel the Lord’s arms around you, holding you up when you feel weak. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Lean on the Lord and on the body of Christ for support, and remember that He is faithful to sustain you.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your promise to work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We trust in Your perfect plan for this situation, even when we cannot see the outcome. We ask for Your mercy and grace to be poured out in abundance, and we declare that Your will be done in this precious daughter’s life. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
