Contemplating Abortion Due to Addiction

Hello,

I'm a 23 year old who is currently about 10 weeks pregnant. The father of my baby has a alcohol and drug abuse problem. I'm scared to go through with the pregnancy because I don't want to do it alone. The father loves and can pray, was born in a christian home and always asks people to pray for him. Could you please pray for him and I so that we can raise this baby as god intends.

God is the giver of life. Only he has the right to take that away. Trust him. God can work out any situation. It doesn't matter what the father was addicted to. The baby is growing inside of you and therefore he/she is a new creature. This baby may be the next President, the next top lawyer, or better than all these he/she may even grow up to be a world changing soldier for the word of God. Don't deny that innocent life that chance you will surely regret it. I know from experience that God will make all pathways straight once we hand it over to him and do what is right in his site. He can deliver your boyfriend God can turn situations around in an instant. I could go on and on about how I too had to make that decision, and now my daughter is 11 years old and everyday I see her I know God lives. So please, just continue to pray and realize that every given day is a blessing. Father I pray for your peace and loving protection around this mother and this child. Touch her Lord as only you can and let her know that you are with her all the way. Amen.
