Constipation and Haemorrhoids

Aerioruinrath

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me. I am suffering from Constipation, and it is also causing me to have severe hemorrhoids.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you endure the pain and discomfort of constipation and hemorrhoids. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We know that the Lord sees your suffering and cares deeply for your well-being.

Father God, we ask You to bring relief to our dear brother/sister in this time of physical distress. We pray for healing in their body, that You would soften their stool and ease their bowel movements, Lord. May the hemorrhoids shrink and the pain subside according to Your will. We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Strengthen their faith as they wait on You for healing.

We also encourage you to seek practical wisdom in caring for your body, as it is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Consider increasing your water intake, eating fiber-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and engaging in gentle exercise to support digestion. If symptoms persist, do not hesitate to consult a medical professional, for God often works through the hands of those He has gifted in healing.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of discouragement or despair that may be trying to take hold during this trial. Fill this precious one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their Healer, their Comforter, and their Strength. May they draw near to You in this season and experience Your presence in a powerful way.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). Amen.

We hear how much discomfort you’re in, and we’re truly sorry you’re having to walk through this. Constant constipation and severe hemorrhoids are exhausting, not just physically but emotionally too, it’s hard to feel like yourself when your body won’t cooperate. Please know we’re standing with you, asking God for relief.

We also want to gently encourage you to see a doctor if you haven’t already. Sometimes these issues need a professional’s help alongside prayer, and there’s no shame in that. While we pray for your healing, it’s wise to let a physician assess what’s going on and offer treatment that could bring you comfort sooner.

Jesus, we lift up our friend to You right now. You know the pain they’re carrying, the constant pressure, the sharpness, the weariness. Please ease their suffering. Bring relief to their body, calm the inflammation, and restore normal function in a way that brings lasting comfort. Guide any healthcare provider they see, giving them insight and wisdom. In the hard moments when the pain feels overwhelming, wrap our friend in Your peace and remind them they’re not alone. We ask for Your healing touch and Your strength for each day. Amen.

Your bodily affliction is a sore trial, and it drives you to the mercy seat, which is a blessed place to be. The sharp pangs of constipation and the bleeding of hemorrhoids are not trifles; they are messengers that our flesh is but grass, withering under the curse. Yet take heart, for the Great Physician walks among His people still, and even the leaves of the Tree of Life are full of healing. Not a single aspect of Christ’s work is void of power, the very hem of His garment brims with virtue to restore.

Make a confidant of Jesus. Spread this complaint before Him as plainly as you would describe your symptoms to an earthly doctor. He who formed the bowels knows their every secret, and He is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. His own body was acquainted with grief, and His compassion flows freely to every aching member of His mystical body.

But while you rightly seek relief from bodily distress, let this be a window to a deeper cure. The Lord often permits the body to groan that the soul might cry out for true healing. The hand that stilled the sea and mended the paralytic first speaks the word, “Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.” Go then to Calvary’s tree, whose leaves never wither and whose balm never fails. Plead the cleansing blood, and you shall find the Sun of Righteousness arising with healing in His wings for spirit and for flesh. Do not merely ask for ease from pain; ask for the pardon that brings lasting peace, and trust that He who bore our sorrows now carries your griefs upon His heart.

I am praying that this season of weakness may become a day of visitation, a time of refreshing from the Lord’s presence. Even now, as you hear the word of His healing love, faith may spring up, and the healing power be present. You are not overlooked; the Feeder of sparrows will supply your need according to His wise and tender will. Rest in His care, and whether He grants swift relief or calls you to endure with patience, His grace shall be sufficient. The day is hurrying near when these vile bodies shall be fashioned like unto His glorious body, and sickness shall be a forgotten dream. Until then, look to Jesus and be of good courage.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your body’s present trial, the constipation and painful hemorrhoids, is indeed a heavy affliction. Yet remember, bodily suffering often serves as a medicine for the soul. When the flesh is refined by such scourges, the spirit is humbled and drawn to seek God. Do not let this distress you as though it were a strange thing; rather, offer this discomfort with thanksgiving. For just as Job endured far worse scourgings and was justified, so you too can gain great reward by bearing this patiently and giving thanks. If you murmur or despair, the affliction profits nothing; but if you endure with long-suffering, it becomes a spark quenched in the depths of a tranquil soul. Long-suffering is stronger than any wall or army, and love will not allow the thorns of irritation to spring up.

At the same time, use this as a summons to careful self-examination. Our Lord, after healing the paralytic, said, “Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” Not every ailment springs directly from a particular sin, but the Master teaches us that the health of the soul is far more urgent than that of the body. Let the pain turn your gaze inward; let it soften your heart and detach you from any love of ease. Pray for healing, certainly, but pray even more for the grace to endure and to be cleansed inwardly. I will join you in prayer, asking the Physician of souls and bodies to grant you relief according to His will, and above all to make this trial a schooling in patience, which perfects us and makes us partakers of His salvation.

Suffering in the body can weigh heavily on the spirit, and I want you to know that your request has been heard. When pain becomes relentless, it is easy to focus all our pleading on relief alone. Yet prayer was never meant to be a tool by which we simply get our wishes carried out. The deepest work of prayer is not to bend God's will to ours but to bring our hearts into harmony with His.

Our Lord Himself, in the garden, cried out for the cup of suffering to be taken from Him. He prayed that three times, and the Father heard Him. But the prayer did not end with the request for relief. It closed with, "Not my will, but yours be done." Through that suffering, He learned obedience, and that path is often the same for us. God can use physical affliction to teach lessons we would learn no other way. That does not make the pain good in itself, but it means it is not wasted.

So I encourage you to keep bringing your need before the Lord. The Bible calls us to continue in prayer, to be persistent, not because we need to persuade a reluctant God, but because as we pray, the door is opened for Him to do what He desires in our lives. He will not force Himself upon us; He waits for us to invite Him into the trouble and to align our hearts with His purposes. Even now, He desires to be to you what He is: the Lord your healer. And He is able to heal. The early church prayed for the sick, and the apostles witnessed mighty works. Yet we also remember that the great apostle Paul prayed three times for a thorn in his flesh to be removed, and the answer was not healing as he expected but the promise, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." He received something greater than relief: the sustaining presence of Christ.

So pray with fervor, and I will join my prayers with yours. Ask the Father for healing from the ### and from the ###, and trust Him for mercy. But as you pray, also ask Him to teach you what He intends through this trial. Use the pain to drive you deeper into dependence on Him. There may be a period of waiting before the answer comes, a testing of faith that produces patience. In that waiting, know that your suffering, as real as it is, is temporary. No present suffering can compare with the glory that will be revealed in us. And sometimes, when we finally let go of our demand for a particular outcome and rest in His will, we find the grace we need, and often the answer as well.

Stand on the relationship you have with Him. Only a child can say, "Father," and if you belong to Jesus, you have that privilege. Your prayer is not meaningless; it rises from a heartfelt cry, and that kind of earnest prayer accomplishes much. But let your primary aim be His will accomplished in your body and your life. Let Him be your strength in weakness, and let hope rise even as you endure. I am praying for you.
