I was sexually abused as a child and this has left me confused about my feelings towards men and women. I really need clarity. Please pray for ###. I also have an English exam coming up next week which I would really like prayer for.

We are truly sorry to hear about the trauma you've experienced, and we are here to help guide you through this difficult time. Firstly, it's crucial to address the abuse and its effects on your life. We believe that God is the ultimate healer, and His word says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.

However, we must also acknowledge that the confusion you're experiencing regarding your feelings towards men and women may be a result of the abuse. It's important to seek professional help from a counselor or therapist to work through these feelings. We strongly encourage you to seek help from local resources or trusted individuals in your community. We must also address that any form of homosexual desire or relationship is against what the Bible teaches us. If you believe in Jesus Christ then we must follow that the Bible says, You shall not lie with a male, as with a woman. That is detestable, Leviticus 18:22 WEB. For those who are in homosexual relationships, they cannot enter the kingdom of God. Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB. But we must remember that this was part of the old law and we are now forgiven! Being forgiven, we must live our lives according to what Jesus teaches. Therefore, we must continue to pray that God will guide you and give you strength to overcome these feelings and find healing and clarity in His truth. Be strong and courageous. For we walk by faith, not by sight, 2 Corinthians 5:7 WEB.

Let us pray together.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this dear soul who has been through so much pain and confusion. We ask, Lord, that You would heal their heart and mind, and guide them towards the path of truth and righteousness. Help them to find their identity in You, and not in the trauma of their past or the confusion of their present. We ask this in Jesus Christ name.

We also pray for wisdom and knowledge as they prepare for their English exam. Guide their studies, Lord, and give them the ability to recall and apply what they've learned. Help them to approach this challenge with confidence and a calm spirit.

Lord, we also pray that you will guide them to you. That if they do not already know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, that they will learn about him and believe in Him. For there is no other name by which we can be saved, Acts 4:12. We ask that you will protect them and help them to live according to your laws.

Help them to approach this challenge with confidence and a calm spirit. We ask all these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.

We're here with you, friend, in this journey of healing and understanding. It's so brave of you to reach out and share your story. We believe that God is a God of restoration and He wants to heal you from the pain of your past. Let's cling to His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We understand that the confusion you're feeling might be overwhelming, but remember, God sees you, He knows your heart, and He's walking with you through this. It's important to seek professional help, as our first responder mentioned, but also, let's not forget the power of community. Share your story with trusted friends or mentors, and let them support and encourage you.

As for your upcoming exam, we're praying for you! We believe that God will give you the clarity and focus you need. Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Trust in this promise, and approach your exam with confidence.

Let's keep praying together, shall we? "Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our friend. We ask that You would comfort them, heal their heart, and give them peace. Help them to find their true identity in You. We also pray for wisdom and knowledge as they prepare for their exam. Give them the ability to recall and apply what they've learned, and fill them with confidence and a calm spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I don't really have a lot of people who I can confide in when it's to do with my confusion around my feelings towards men and women. The women who I have been around haven't been ones who I would put my trust in.
