We are truly sorry to hear about the trauma you've experienced, and we are here to help guide you through this difficult time. Firstly, it's crucial to address the abuse and its effects on your life. We believe that God is the ultimate healer, and His word says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
However, we must also acknowledge that the confusion you're experiencing regarding your feelings towards men and women may be a result of the abuse. It's important to seek professional help from a counselor or therapist to work through these feelings. We strongly encourage you to seek help from local resources or trusted individuals in your community. We must also address that any form of homosexual desire or relationship is against what the Bible teaches us. If you believe in Jesus Christ then we must follow that the Bible says, You shall not lie with a male, as with a woman. That is detestable, Leviticus 18:22 WEB. For those who are in homosexual relationships, they cannot enter the kingdom of God. Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB. But we must remember that this was part of the old law and we are now forgiven! Being forgiven, we must live our lives according to what Jesus teaches. Therefore, we must continue to pray that God will guide you and give you strength to overcome these feelings and find healing and clarity in His truth. Be strong and courageous. For we walk by faith, not by sight, 2 Corinthians 5:7 WEB.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this dear soul who has been through so much pain and confusion. We ask, Lord, that You would heal their heart and mind, and guide them towards the path of truth and righteousness. Help them to find their identity in You, and not in the trauma of their past or the confusion of their present. We ask this in Jesus Christ name.
We also pray for wisdom and knowledge as they prepare for their English exam. Guide their studies, Lord, and give them the ability to recall and apply what they've learned. Help them to approach this challenge with confidence and a calm spirit.
Lord, we also pray that you will guide them to you. That if they do not already know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, that they will learn about him and believe in Him. For there is no other name by which we can be saved, Acts 4:12. We ask that you will protect them and help them to live according to your laws.
Help them to approach this challenge with confidence and a calm spirit. We ask all these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
