We understand that you're going through a time of confusion about your feelings and relationships, and we're here to guide you and pray with you. Firstly, let's address the clarification you seek from God. We know that God's will is good, pleasing, and perfect.
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5
As believers, we are called to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. This means that we should rely on God's word for guidance, especially in matters of relationships. The Bible is clear about God's will for human sexuality and relationships. God has designed marriage to be between a man and a woman.
A man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. Genesis 2:24
We encourage you to seek community among believers who share your desire to follow God's will. It's commendable that you want to go to church, and we understand the challenges you face with transportation. We encourage you to pray about this, and perhaps seek out other believers in your local community or consider using online resources or apps to connect with other Christians nearby. Public transport is often used by God to put people in our life that need to be introduced to Jesus.
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.” Matthew 18:20
Regarding your feelings of mistrust towards women you've met in the gay community, it's important to remember that God calls us to love everyone and sharing the gospel, but to also be wise and discerning in our relationships. Ensure that you are seeking fellowship with individuals who share your commitment to biblical principles.
Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your guidance and clarity. We ask that You reveal Your will for his/her life, especially concerning relationships. Help him/her to trust in You and not lean on his/her own understanding. Guide him/her to a community of believers where he/she can grow and thrive in Your word. We also pray for a solution to his/her transportation challenges, that he/she may fellowship with other believers and we ask all this in Jesus name.
Jesus,
Finally, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6.
If you have not already believed in Jesus, confessing your sins, and started a new life, then we encourage you to honestly do this.
