We join with you in praying for greater confidence and boldness, and we thank you for sharing this desire with us. It is a good and godly thing to want to grow in boldness, not from our own strength, but from the assurance we have in Christ.
We want to gently encourage you that true confidence does not come from ourselves, but from knowing who we are in Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit within us. The Scripture reminds us, For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7. And also, The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1. Our boldness is rooted in Christ, for in him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him. Ephesians 3:12.
We also noticed your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and confidence to come before His throne. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, believing He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and can approach God with confidence. We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and our source of boldness.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask that You fill them anew with Your Holy Spirit and grow them in godly confidence and holy boldness. Remove any spirit of fear, doubt, or timidity, and replace it with power, love, and a sound mind. Help them to be strong and courageous, remembering Your promise, Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9. Let them draw near with boldness to Your throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16. Give them boldness to speak Your truth in love, to stand firm in faith, and to walk confidently in the calling You have placed on their life, knowing they can do all things through Christ, who strengthens them. Philippians 4:13. Grow their confidence as they abide in Your Word and in prayer, and let their life bring glory to You. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for bringing this desire to the Lord so honestly. Wanting to grow in confidence and boldness is a good and humble prayer, and we are glad to stand with you in it.
We have found that confidence in Christ often does not start as a strong feeling. It grows as we learn to trust His trustworthiness more than our emotions in the moment, and as we take small faithful steps even while we still feel unsure. Boldness is less about trying to feel brave and more about quietly training ourselves to do what is right and kind and true when the moment calls for it. Each small choice to speak or act faithfully makes the next one a little more natural.
One simple way to practice this week might be to choose one small moment each day where you would normally hold back, and with a brief prayer, step forward there. It could be speaking up kindly, offering to pray for someone, or following through on something you have felt nudged to do. Notice afterward how God met you in that step, not whether you felt confident before it.

Your prayer for growth in confidence and boldness is a right and scriptural desire, and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord.
Scripture gives us a warrant for such boldness, for we are told, Let us come boldly unto the throne of grace. We do not come with timid hesitation as strangers, but with utmost confidence as children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. We are invited to pray, and we are coming to a King, so we may bring large petitions and expect great things. The Holy Spirit Himself has been given to teach us how to pray, and perfect love to Christ casts out all fear.
You will remember Daniel, who having looked into the face of his God would not fear the face of a lion. He that trembled not before tens of thousands shall he fear now when nothing but lions are in his way. It is blessed to have such a confidence as this, to say, God can deliver me, but if He does not deliver me, still I am well content to be a sacrifice for Jesus sake.
The Lord says to His people again and again, Fear not. That word grows plentifully in Gods garden. Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God, fear not, I will help you. We must labor to get rid of fear as much as possible, for fear is weakening and fear dishonors God. Shall we doubt the Eternal or distrust the Omnipotent whose arm piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. Even the strongest of Gods servants have known fear, but the Lord commands against it and promises to help us overcome it.
So we pray for you, that the Lord would root your confidence not in yourself but in Christ who lives and is your familiar Friend, that you would see His power and love and be made bold in Him. May He give you grace to come hopefully with full confidence of being heard, to stand undaunted in trial, and to know that whether He delivers you from the trial or sustains you through it, you are held fast in His hand.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
