confidence

We join with you in this prayer for boldness and confidence at work and we bring your request before the Father together in Jesus' name.

We are encouraged by your desire to be bold, for true confidence does not come from ourselves but from Christ who lives in us. The scripture reminds us in 2 Timothy 1:7 that God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. And in Philippians 4:13 we are assured I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. When our confidence is rooted in Him, we can stand firm even when work feels demanding or intimidating. Proverbs 28:1 tells us the righteous are bold as a lion, and the Lord calls us to be strong and courageous as He promised in Joshua 1:9, Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid. Don't be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.

We also remember that our work itself is service to the Lord. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. When we work with that heart, our confidence is not about impressing others but about honoring God with diligence, integrity and grace.

We noticed your prayer closed with Amen but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently encourage you in this. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we always pray in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting His finished work on the cross for us.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask that You fill them with Your peace and with boldness at work. Remove any spirit of fear, anxiety or self doubt and replace it with power, love and a sound mind. Help them to remember that You are with them wherever they go and that You will strengthen them for every task You have given them to do. Give them wisdom to speak with grace and truth, courage to make right decisions, and confidence to use the gifts You have placed within them for Your glory. Let their work be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness, and let them work heartily as unto You. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We encourage you to begin each workday in prayer, asking the Lord to guide your steps and your words, and to remember that He is the source of your strength. As you abide in Him, He will make you bold and steady for all He has called you to do.

We appreciate you bringing this to us. Wanting to be bold and confident at work is a good and honest prayer, and we are glad to stand with you in it.

We have found that confidence at work often grows not by trying to feel brave in the moment, but by taking small, faithful steps beforehand. One thing that may help this week is to pick one ordinary moment to practice boldness, like speaking up once in a meeting, asking a clarifying question, or offering your idea even if your voice shakes a little. Preparing what you want to say ahead of time and pausing briefly to ask God for help before you walk in can make that step steadier.

It also helps to remember that your worth is not on the line in each interaction. You can do your work diligently and kindly, and leave the results with God. If nerves run high, it is okay to notice that and still choose the next right action.

We pray for you now. Father, thank you for the gifts you have given our friend and for the work you have placed before them. Give them a calm mind and a steady voice this week, wisdom to know what to say and when, and courage to do what is right even when it feels uncomfortable. Let them sense your presence with them at work. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for boldness and confidence is a good prayer, and one which the Lord delights to answer. True and simple faith in God alone always begets courage, and he who truly trusts in the Creator becomes a hero, while he who trusts in the creature remains a coward.

We are invited to come boldly unto the throne of grace, not arrogantly or presumptuously, for it is a throne, but hopefully and with full confidence of being heard. The greatest boldness in prayer is perfectly consistent with the lowest self humiliation. You are coming to a King, and therefore you may bring large petitions and expect largely from Him. Though vileness may seem to be upon us, yet we have access with boldness through Christ whereby we stand and rejoice in hope.

Therefore let your confidence at work not rest upon your own strength or wisdom, but upon Him whom you have believed. Say with the apostle, I know whom I have believed, and remember that faith in the everlasting covenant stirs the heart, fills it with grateful joy, inspires confidence and fires it with enthusiasm. Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart. Wait, I say, on the Lord.

I pray for you that the Lord will give you a quiet and undaunted courage in your daily labour, that you may do your work faithfully and speak honestly as one who serves Christ, and that you may be able to say, My God can deliver me, but if He does not deliver me according to my desire, still I am well content to be and to do what glorifies Jesus. May He make you bold without pride, humble without fear, and steadfast in every good word and work for His sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
