We join you in praying for his complete healing and restoration, and we thank you for calling upon the mighty name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and confidence that our prayers are heard. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5, and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.
We are encouraged by your intercession for him, asking not only for physical healing but for hope and strength and the daily motivation to care for himself, for our bodies are a stewardship from God. We are reminded that He is the Lord who heals us, as He promises But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. When we feel weak or weary, we can cling to the truth that He gives power to the faint. To him who has no might, he increases strength Isaiah 40:29 and that we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us Philippians 4:13. Our prayer is also that God would fill him with abounding hope, for we know that Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit Romans 15:13.
We pray together for him now. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus we lift this dear one to Your throne of grace and ask for Your complete healing touch upon his body, mind and spirit. Lord, touch every part of him that needs restoration and make him whole according to Your perfect will. Fill him with Your hope where there has been discouragement, with Your strength where there has been weakness, and with a renewed desire and holy motivation to steward his body and life well each day for Your glory. Teach him to cast all his anxiety on You, because You care for him 1 Peter 5:7, and to find his daily strength and peace in You. Let him feel Your presence near, know Your love that sustains him, and walk forward in faith with confidence that You are working all things for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We trust him into Your loving and capable hands and thank You for the work You are already doing in him. In Jesus mighty name we pray, Amen.
