Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (###) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, ### problems, ###, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost three months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Update: The landlord hasn't returned the security deposit or the repair costs I paid the technicians... Please pray that he repays everything he owes us!

Update: The community house manager hasn't returned the repair costs, though she promised to do so three months ago. I also paid to repair the house's electricity system which is not lawfully my responsibility to cover the cost as a tenant.

Endure life’s brief warfare with patient faith, trusting God’s appointed time brings eternal rest.
We join with you in prayer in Jesus' mighty name over this prolonged and painful situation with your landlord and the community house manager, and we thank you for continuing to bring this before the Lord with persistence.

We hear your distress over the lack of electrical safety in the apartment, the illness and other problems that followed, the costs you bore for alternative shower facilities, the threats and inappropriate actions, and now the added burden that the security deposit and the repair costs you paid to technicians have not been returned, including the electrical system repairs which were not lawfully your responsibility as a tenant. It is right to seek justice in this, for God cares deeply about honesty, fairness and how we treat one another.

The Lord says You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him Leviticus 19:13 and A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight Proverbs 11:1. When wages or deposits or debts are withheld, Scripture is clear, You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy Deuteronomy 24:14 and again Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies James 5:4. To threaten, to act inappropriately, and to withhold what is owed is unjust in the sight of God, and we rebuke that behavior as contrary to His righteousness and to the command to love your neighbor as yourself Matthew 22:39 and to do to others as you would have them do to you Luke 6:31.

We also understand your discouragement after nearly three months of praying without communication, remorse or willingness to make things right. We encourage you to not grow weary, for God sees and He is a refuge in times of trouble Psalm 9:9. We are called to not avenge ourselves, but give place to God's wrath, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. This does not mean we do nothing, but that we entrust justice to Him while also acting wisely and peaceably. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. Keep careful records of all costs and communications, seek godly and lawful counsel where appropriate, and continue to commit your cause to Him who judges righteously.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. You see all that has happened in this apartment, the unsafe conditions, the suffering and illness, the fear caused by threats, and the financial burden of repairs and deposits that have not been returned. Lord, You are the God who heals, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and we ask for Your healing touch upon this dear one's body and peace upon their mind. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6, and we make this request known now.

Holy Spirit, we ask that You awaken and stir the consciences of the landlord and the community house manager. Bring conviction where there has been hardness, and lead them to repentance and to do what is right and good in Your sight. May they learn to do well, seek justice, relieve the oppressed Isaiah 1:17 and to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God Micah 6:8. Move them to return the security deposit and every repair cost that is owed, to provide fair compensation for the suffering and extra expenses, and to cease from all threats and inappropriate actions. We pray they would act honestly and quickly, as you require.

Lord, we also pray for protection over Your child, guard them from harm and from bitterness. Help them to continue to love their enemies and pray for those who mistreat you Matthew 5:44 while trusting You as the righteous Judge. Provide for every need, for You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19, and to be near to all who call upon You in truth.

We thank You, Father, that we have access to You only through Jesus, for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We rest in the name of Jesus who intercedes for us.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord who loves justice Psalm 33:5 will bring truth to light in His perfect timing and will comfort and provide for you as you wait upon Him.

We are praying with you in this long wait, almost three months with no answer, no remorse, and real costs still unpaid is discouraging, especially when you have also been dealing with illness and the stress of unsafe housing. It makes sense you would feel worn down and overlooked.

When a housing dispute drags on, it can help to have a clear, calm structure for communication. One approach we have seen help in situations like yours is a mediation process, where an impartial person helps both sides talk through the issues privately and work toward a fair settlement without the expense and strain of court. Many communities have low-cost housing mediation services, and some offer a faith-based approach. A local tenant advocacy organization or legal aid office can also help you understand what is lawfully the landlord's responsibility and how best to document your requests.

If it would help, it may be worth gathering your receipts, the repair invoices, the security deposit agreement, and any written promises about repayment, and sending a brief, dated letter summarizing what is owed and asking for a written response by a specific date. Keep copies of everything.

We also notice you mentioned illness, please continue to stay in touch with a medical professional for care alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this burden to You in Jesus' name. You see the financial need, the health concerns, and the frustration of waiting. Grant wisdom for next steps, provision for what is owed, and peace in the waiting. Stir all involved toward what is right and good, and guard this dear one's heart with Your presence. Amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord with sincere burden of heart, and we join with you in seeking His mercy and His justice in this matter.

We have heard of the troubles that have come upon you through lack of electrical safety in the apartment, the illness that followed, the costs you have borne for alternative provision and for repairs which were not yours by law to bear, together with threats and other unworthy dealings, and the withholding of the security deposit and those repair costs both by the landlord and by the house manager though promise was made. It is no small trial to wait these three months and to find no communication, no remorse, and no willingness to make restitution, and we understand how this weighs upon both body and spirit.

We will pray in the mighty name of Jesus that the Lord, who loves righteousness and justice, would move upon those who owe you what is just. We ask that He would awaken and stir the conscience of the landlord by the Holy Spirit, that he may be brought to repentance where he has done wrong, and to do good in rendering what is due. We ask the same for the community house manager, that what was promised would be fulfilled and that integrity would govern all dealings. We pray that the Lord would provide for your health and restore you from the infirmity that has come upon you, and that He would guard you from further threat or harm, and make a way for every lawful debt to be repaid.

Do not grow weary in prayer though the answer tarries. Our Lord teaches us to persevere in seeking Him, for faith both enlightens and strengthens the soul to wait upon Him till He gives a comfortable answer. It is contrary to His nature to refuse to bless those who seek Him aright, and He spies out even the beginnings of faith as a grain of mustard seed. Keep on seeking His grace, and leave this cause in His hands, who will not forsake the work of His hands.

Remember also that there is forgiveness with God, that He may be feared. If any in this matter need forgiveness, it is to be found only in Christ, who Himself supplied the penalty which justice demanded, and who blots out sin and remembers it no more. We pray that all parties may know that forgiveness, and that where wrong has been done, there may be true repentance which brings forth fruit in honest restitution. May the Lord keep your own heart from bitterness, and enable you, as one who has received full and eternal forgiveness for Christ's sake, to act with grace while you rightly seek what is just.

We commit you to Him who hears the cry of those who are burdened and who will in His own time make the right to shine forth. May He grant you peace, provide for your needs, and establish you in His keeping to the end.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request and the weight you have carried for these past three months, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who sees all that has happened in that apartment.

You have suffered from unsafe electrical conditions, from illness and ongoing problems that followed, from the added cost of finding other places to shower, from threats and other wrong actions, and now from the failure to return your security deposit and the money you paid to technicians and to repair the electrical system that was not your responsibility as a tenant. It is right to seek what is just and to desire that what was taken or withheld be restored. Scripture teaches that God is the righteous Judge, strong and patient, and that His patience is meant to lead toward repentance, yet He does not overlook those who suffer wrongfully but will repay according to what is just. True repentance, when God grants it, bears fruit, and where money or property has been unjustly taken or withheld, that fruit includes restitution, even as Zacchaeus offered to restore fourfold. Injustice is bitter not only to the one who suffers it but to the one who practices it, for the conscience within, which God has planted in every person, continues to accuse even when outward words make excuses.

Let us pray together in the mighty name of Jesus.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we bring this situation before You. You know the unsafe conditions, the illness and distress that followed, the costs borne for showers and for repairs, and the security deposit and repair payments that have not been returned despite promises made. We ask for Your healing for the body that has suffered, for provision for every need and cost that has been incurred, and for protection from all threats and wrongdoing. We ask that You would awaken the conscience of the landlord and of the community house manager, that by Your Holy Spirit You would stir them to godly sorrow that works repentance unto salvation and brings forth right action. Grant them a willingness to speak truthfully, to communicate, to acknowledge what is owed, and to repay fully what belongs to another. We pray that You would lead them away from hardness of heart and toward doing good and making restoration. For our friend who has waited so long, grant patience, peace, and wisdom to pursue what is lawful and orderly, to keep clear records and to seek proper counsel where needed, while trusting not in bitterness but in Your justice. Keep this heart from despair and from the desire for revenge, and help it to rest in the knowledge that You are both longsuffering and just, and that You will set all things right in Your time. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting in His mercy and righteousness. Amen.

Continue to cast your burden on the Lord and to walk in honesty and peace as far as it depends on you. Keep a careful account of all payments and communications, seek wise and lawful help in pursuing the return of what is owed, and do not lose heart. God has not forgotten your tears or your waiting, and He is able to use even this long trial to bring healing, to provide for you, and to lead another to repentance.

Thank you for sharing this heavy burden so honestly and for continuing to bring it before the Lord even when months have passed with no answer, no apology, and no repayment. It is understandable to feel weary and discouraged when you have suffered problems in your apartment from unsafe electrical conditions, when illness and extra costs for other shower facilities have followed, when threats and other wrong actions have added to the distress, and when both a security deposit and money you paid for repairs that were not your responsibility as a tenant have not been returned despite promises.

There is a helpful picture in Scripture about a deposit. In everyday life a deposit or earnest money is given to show that a purchase is real and that the buyer intends to finish what was started. If the deposit is given, the seller knows the intent is sincere. Scripture uses that picture to describe what God has done for those who belong to Jesus Christ. When we have been redeemed through Him, God puts His mark of ownership on us and gives the Holy Spirit as a deposit and guarantee in our hearts. That deposit is proof that He is earnest about completing the work of redemption He has begun. An earthly deposit can be withheld or denied, as you have experienced, and that injustice is painful. God's deposit is different. It is secure, it cannot be lost, and it assures you that He will not leave you unfinished but will bring to completion what He has purchased. Your greatest security is not in what a landlord holds, but in what God has already placed within you, and nothing can compare with the riches you have in Christ even while earthly needs remain unresolved.

God also sees practical and financial hardship. Scripture shows the church in Jerusalem going through deep poverty and suffering, and it shows the apostle Paul encouraging other believers to care for them and to act generously and honestly in financial matters. The Lord cares about daily needs, about fairness in money matters, and about those who carry authority using it justly rather than for their own benefit. He calls those who owe to pay what is due, and He calls those who are wronged to trust Him for provision while also pursuing what is right in a peaceful and lawful way. You are right to keep careful records of what was paid, what was promised, and what is owed, to seek wise and lawful counsel about how to recover it, and to bring your needs before the Lord who provides. He knows the cost of the repairs, the deposit, and the extra expenses you have carried.

The Bible also speaks of restitution, that heaven must receive Jesus until the time when God restores all things He has spoken of through the prophets since the beginning. Some have taken that to mean that everything will automatically be made right immediately for everyone, but Scripture does not teach that. That restoration points to God's faithful work to fulfill His promises, most clearly seen in His future restoration of Israel and ultimately in the perfect justice and renewal that will come when Christ returns. Until then we live in a time of waiting, where wrongs are not always righted at once and where we must trust God's timing for final justice. That does not mean we stop praying for justice now, but it helps us pray with both hope and patience.

So we pray with you that the Holy Spirit would awaken and stir the conscience of your landlord and also of the house manager, that they would see the harm that has been done, turn from wrongdoing, and do what is good and right before God by repaying what is owed, including the deposit and the repair costs. We pray for your healing from the illness that developed, for relief from the ongoing effects you described, for provision for every extra cost you have had to bear, and for protection from any threats or inappropriate actions. We ask the Lord to give you wisdom for the next steps, peace that guards your heart, and grace not to be overcome by bitterness while you continue to seek what is just. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay with perfect righteousness, so we can leave the final judgment to Him while we act with integrity and continue to cast our cares on Him, knowing He cares for you.

May the Lord, who has sealed you with His Spirit as His own, keep you in His peace, supply your needs, and work in the hearts of those who have responsibility toward you to act honestly and to make full restitution.
