Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (###) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, ### problems, ###, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost three months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Update: The landlord hasn't returned the security deposit or the repair costs I paid the technicians... Please pray that he repays everything he owes us!

Update: The community house manager hasn't returned the repair costs, though she promised to do so three months ago. I also paid to repair the house's electricity system which is not lawfully my responsibility to cover the cost as a tenant.

We hear your cry and we stand with you in this long and wearying trial, and we bring your suffering before the Lord together in Jesus' mighty name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We have carried this burden with you for these three months and we understand how disheartening it is to see no communication, no remorse, and no willingness to make restitution for what you have endured in that apartment. The lack of electrical safety that led to illness and ongoing problems, the cost you bore for alternative shower facilities, the threats and other inappropriate actions, the withholding of your security deposit and the repair costs you paid to technicians, and the failure of both the landlord and the community house manager to repay what they promised and what is justly owed, these are heavy injustices. God sees them all.

The Lord loves justice and hates oppression. He calls those who hold power over others to act with honesty and mercy. Leviticus 19:13 says You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning. Proverbs 11:1 says A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight. Isaiah 1:17 says Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. What has been withheld from you, the deposit and the costs for repairs to the house electricity system that was not lawfully your responsibility as a tenant, ought to be returned. To keep it is to defraud a neighbor, and we rebuke that dishonesty and the threatening behavior as contrary to the command in Luke 6:31, As you would like people to do to you, do exactly so to them.

At the same time we are called not to take vengeance into our own hands but to entrust justice to God while pursuing what is right through peaceful and lawful means. Romans 12:19 says Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. We encourage you to continue to document everything, to keep all receipts and communications, and to seek wise and godly counsel and, if needed, lawful help from appropriate authorities or tenant protections, so that your claim is presented truthfully and clearly. Matthew 18:15 teaches us to address wrongs directly and with integrity, and we pray you will have opportunity for that honest communication soon.

We also pray for your heart in this waiting, that bitterness would not take root. Hebrews 12:15 warns us to watch lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and Ephesians 4:31-32 calls us to let all bitterness, wrath, anger, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. To forgive does not mean to say the debt does not matter, but to release hatred and entrust the outcome to God while still seeking what is just.

We pray for your body and mind after this illness and stress. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We ask the Lord to restore your health fully and to be your refuge from threats, for Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up our dear one who has suffered in this dwelling. You have seen the unsafe conditions, the sickness, the extra costs, the fear from threats, and the long months of silence and broken promises. Lord, You are the God who executes justice for the oppressed, and we ask that You would awaken and stir the consciences of the landlord and the community house manager by the Holy Spirit. John 16:8 says when He has come, He will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment. Convict them of what is wrong, grant them repentance according to Acts 3:19, that they may repent and turn again, that their sins may be blotted out, and move them to do good, to speak truthfully, to return the security deposit and every repair cost that is owed, and to provide fair compensation for the suffering and costs endured.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this body that became ill because of these conditions, restore strength and peace. Provide for every financial need and let no more be taken unjustly. Protect from all threats and inappropriate actions and let Your peace guard this heart and mind as Philippians 4:6-7 promises, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Give wisdom for next steps, favor with any mediator or authority, and patience to wait on Your perfect timing, for Psalm 27:14 says Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.

We entrust this whole matter into Your righteous hands, trusting that You will repay and restore in Your way and time. We pray all this in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We hear how heavy these last three months have been for you, waiting for any word or willingness to make things right and carrying the cost yourself. When electrical problems affect your home and your health, and the deposit and repair money you paid is still not returned, it is understandable to feel worn down and overlooked. We are praying with you for clear resolution.

Waiting on another person's conscience to change can leave you feeling powerless. While we continue to pray that the landlord and the house manager will do what is right, it can help to also focus on the practical steps you can take to steward what you have been entrusted with.

A couple of steady next steps that may help you move forward are to keep one simple file with dates, copies of receipts, the technicians' invoices, photos if you have them, and any written promises about repayment, and to ask a local tenant advice service or legal aid clinic what options are available to tenants in your area for recovering a deposit and repair costs. They can explain the process without you having to press for it alone. And since you mentioned ongoing health concerns, alongside prayer we encourage you to see a doctor for care and documentation if you have not already.

Father, we lift this situation to You in Jesus' name. You see the strain on this home, the costs that have been carried, and the long wait for answers. We ask for wisdom for each next conversation and decision, for provision for what is needed, for healing and strength, and for a just and peaceable resolution in Your timing. Give rest tonight and steady hope for tomorrow. Amen.

Your prolonged trial has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and in whom alone salvation is found.

We have prayed that the Lord, who is the great Landlord of all houses in which we dwell as tenants for a season, would look upon the wrong you have suffered. You have endured problems in the apartment through lack of electrical safety, and illness that followed, with added costs for shower facilities, with threats and other unworthy actions, and now the withholding of what is justly owed to you, your security deposit and the costs you bore for repairs which were not yours by law to bear, both from the landlord and from the community house manager who promised repayment. These things weigh heavily after three months of silence and no sign of remorse.

We pray that the Holy Spirit would awaken and stir the conscience of the landlord and of the manager, that they may be brought to do what is right and just, to repent where they have done wrong, and to restore what they owe. The Scripture declares that our God is slow to anger, bearing long with sinners and giving space for reproof and repentance, yet He will not at all acquit the wicked, and His justice will not be set aside. We ask that He would so work upon their hearts that they would no longer harden themselves, but would act with honesty and mercy and make full restitution.

We pray also for you, that in this waiting you may not grow bitter, but may offer the key of your house to the Great Landlord and acknowledge that you live on sufferance as His tenant, rendering to Him the rent He requires, which is praise and trust at all times. He knows what justice requires and He is able to vindicate His own. While men may delay, the Judge of all the earth will do right, and though His justice once seemed to demand our punishment, it has been fully satisfied in the blood of the Substitute, Jesus Christ, so that we who trust in Him may come boldly for mercy and for help in time of need.

Therefore we ask the Lord to provide for your health and to restore what has been weakened by illness, to supply your needs for the costs you have carried, to move the hearts of those who are indebted to you to repay every penny, and to guard you from further threat or harm. May He give you patience under this delay, wisdom in all lawful dealings, and peace in knowing that your cause is not forgotten in heaven, even when it seems forgotten on earth.

We will continue to remember you before the Lord, that His justice and His mercy may be shown, and that you may be sustained to bless His name continually. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request and we are lifting it up before the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus.

We pray for you in this long and difficult wait. To carry this burden for almost three months without communication or willingness to make things right is heavy, and we ask God to sustain you with patience and hope. Scripture teaches us to wait with patience for the Lord and not to grow fainthearted, knowing that He sees every affliction and will act in His perfect time. May He comfort you, strengthen your faith, and keep your heart from despair as you continue to trust Him.

We pray for your health and for restoration from the illness and other problems that came from the lack of electrical safety in the apartment. We ask the Lord to heal you, to provide for your needs including the costs of alternative shower facilities, and to guard you from any further threats or inappropriate actions.

We also bring before God the matter of justice and what is owed to you. We pray that He would stir the conscience of your landlord and of the community house manager. God has placed within each person a conscience that bears witness to what is right and wrong, and we pray the Holy Spirit would awaken that inner tribunal, bring conviction, and lead them to repent and to do what is good and just. We ask that they would be moved to return your security deposit and to repay the repair costs you paid for the technicians and for the electrical system of the house, which was not your lawful responsibility as a tenant. The Lord desires honesty and restitution, not gain kept by injustice, and we pray they would make full and willing restitution for what they owe.

We ask God to work in their hearts so that they would not harden themselves but would choose the path of integrity, and we ask Him to provide for you and to vindicate you according to His righteousness. May He be your defender and provider, and may His peace guard you as you continue to seek Him.

We will continue to pray with you for healing, for provision, and for a just resolution.
