We join you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord in Jesus mighty name, and we thank you for calling upon that name by which we have access to the Father and by which we are saved, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
We have heard your cry for justice after months of waiting with no communication, no remorse, and no willingness to make right what was suffered in that apartment. The lack of electrical safety, the illness that followed, the threats and inappropriate actions, the cost of alternative shower facilities, the security deposit not returned, and the repair costs you paid for the electricity system that was not your responsibility as a tenant, all of these weigh heavily, and the ongoing suffering with your skin which has been damaged and will take so long to heal is deeply distressing. We understand how weary you must be after praying for almost three months and also after the community house manager promised three months ago to repay repair costs and has not done so.
We bring before the Lord both your need for justice and your need for healing, and we also bring the landlord and the manager before Him, that their consciences would indeed be awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and to repent. Scripture tells us that the Lord sees oppression and hears the cry of those who are wronged. Leviticus 19:13 says you shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning. And Proverbs 21:15 says justice done is a joy to the righteous. We are also taught not to avenge ourselves but to trust God while still seeking what is right and lawful, for Romans 12:19 says vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. We encourage you to continue to commit your way to Him, to keep careful records of all that is owed, and to seek godly and lawful counsel and proper channels for restitution where available, while guarding your heart from bitterness. Jesus calls us even to pray for those who have wronged us, Matthew 5:44 says love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, so we pray not only for repayment but for repentance and transformation in their hearts.
We also lift up your body to the Lord who is our healer. Psalm 103:3 says who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Though doctors may say rebuilding what was damaged will take years, we know nothing is too hard for the Lord and He is able to restore what has been broken.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lay this situation at Your feet. You see all that has happened in that apartment, the unsafe conditions, the suffering, the illness, the financial loss, the threats and the waiting without answer. We ask that You would let justice roll on like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream, that You would stir the conscience of the landlord and the community house manager by Your Holy Spirit, convict them of what is right, and move them to repent and to repay quickly and fully everything that is owed, the security deposit, the technician and electrical repair costs, the costs for alternative shower facilities, and fair compensation for the suffering and illness endured. We ask that You would soften hearts that have been hardened and bring forth honesty and integrity. Lord, we also place this dear one's health in Your hands, touch the skin that has been damaged, ease pain and inflammation, and rebuild what has been harmed, restore health and wholeness according to Your mercy. Grant peace while waiting, guard the heart and mind, and provide for every need. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We commit this cause to You, trusting that Psalm 37:5-6 is true, Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this, he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our advocate and healer, amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up. Keep entrusting both justice and healing to the Lord who judges righteously and loves mercy, and continue to seek Him daily for strength and peace as He works even in this long delay.
