We join you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord and we have heard your cries over these many months of waiting without communication or remorse or repayment. We stand with you in seeking both justice and healing and we thank you for asking in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We are grateful you have come in His name and we continue to seek Him with you.
We see the injustice you have described, the lack of electrical safety that led to suffering and illness, the costs you bore for alternative shower facilities, the threats and inappropriate actions, and now the withholding of your security deposit and the repair costs you paid for both the apartment and the community house, even though the house manager promised repayment three months ago and even though as a tenant you were not lawfully responsible for the electrical system. The Lord sees what has been done in secret and what is being withheld. Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them Proverbs 22:23, and we know that all His ways are just, A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is He Deuteronomy 32:4. We also remember the Lord calls us to not take vengeance into our own hands but to trust His justice, Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. That does not mean we remain passive about what is right, but that we pursue what is right in a godly way while leaving the final judgment to Him.
We also hear your discouragement after praying for almost three months with no change. We encourage you to remain persistent in prayer as our Lord taught us. He told the parable of the unjust judge to show that we ought to always pray and not give up Luke 18:1, and He assures us, Won’t God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them Luke 18:7. Your perseverance is not unseen. We encourage you also to commit your way to Him while taking wise and lawful steps, for He calls us to act with wisdom and to let our requests be made known, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. This may include keeping careful written records of all payments, promises, threats, and repair receipts, and seeking godly counsel or lawful mediation or tenant advocacy where available in your area, so that truth is clearly documented and justice can be pursued peacefully.
We rebuke the threats and inappropriate actions you have endured and the failure to repay what is owed, for Scripture says You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him Leviticus 19:13. To withhold what belongs to another and to threaten those who are vulnerable is contrary to the good the Lord requires. We pray that the Holy Spirit will awaken and stir the consciences of both the landlord and the community house manager, to convict them of wrongdoing, to grant them repentance, and to move them to do what is right and to restore what they have taken. We pray they will be given a new heart, as God promises I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you Ezekiel 36:26, and that they will turn from hardness to honesty and mercy. We pray even for them as our Lord commanded, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44, that they may come to know the Lord’s mercy while also making restitution.
We lift up your body to the Great Physician with deep compassion for the illness and the skin damage you described and for the long healing process that may take years. We ask the Lord to touch those areas where you received harm and to rebuild what was damaged. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3, and He promises For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We pray for complete restoration, for relief from pain and inflammation, for renewed skin and strength, and for peace as you wait. We also encourage you to continue under proper medical care, trusting that God often works through the wisdom He gives to physicians as part of His healing.
Together we pray. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this dear one who has suffered in their home and in their body. You have seen the unsafe conditions, the illness, the costs borne for showers and repairs, the threats spoken, and the money still withheld. Lord, let Your justice shine. We ask that You stir the hearts of the landlord and the manager, convict them by Your Holy Spirit, awaken their consciences, and lead them to repent and to repay the security deposit and every repair cost that is rightfully owed, and to provide fair compensation for the suffering and illness that resulted. We ask that You would open a way for honest communication and for a just resolution without further harm. Father, lay Your healing hand upon the skin and body that has been injured, restore what has been damaged, ease the suffering, and rebuild health day by day. Guard this heart from bitterness and fill it with Your peace which surpasses all understanding, and keep this life from anxiety while You work. We trust that You will plead the cause of the afflicted and that You will not forsake those who cry to You day and night. We commit this whole situation into Your hands and ask for Your will to be done, for healing to come, and for justice to be established, all for Your glory. In the mighty and merciful name of Jesus we pray, amen.
We encourage you to keep committing your way to Yahweh, Trust also in him, and he will do this, he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun Psalm 37:5-6. We are continuing to stand with you in prayer for full repayment, for a softened and repentant heart in those who owe you, and for the slow but certain healing of your body.
