Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (###) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, ### problems, ###, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Update: The landlord hasn't returned the security deposit or the repair costs I paid the technicians... Please pray that he repays everything he owes us!

Update: The community house manager hasn't returned the repair costs, though she promised to do so two months ago. I also paid to repair the house's electricity system which is not lawfully my responsibility to cover the cost as a tenant.
My skin has become ### and ### in the areas where I received ###. It may take years for ###, which is awful. Please pray that ### heal and that ### is rebuilt where the ### was damaged.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice and suffering that you have endured. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." It is clear that your landlord has not acted with integrity or compassion, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice and restoration.

Father God, we ask that You move powerfully in this situation. We pray that the landlord’s heart would be softened and his conscience awakened by the Holy Spirit. Let conviction fall upon him, Lord, so that he may repent and make right what has been wronged. We declare that the financial burdens placed upon this dear one will be lifted, and that every penny owed, whether for repairs, deposits, or compensation, will be repaid in full. We speak restoration over the physical harm that has come to their body, asking for Your healing touch to mend what has been damaged. May their skin be renewed, and may their strength be rebuilt where it has been weakened.

We also lift up the community house manager, Lord. You see her broken promises and lack of accountability. We ask that You would stir her heart to fulfill her word and act with righteousness. Let her not delay any longer in returning what is rightfully owed.

The Word of God reminds us in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We trust in Your perfect justice, Father, and we ask that You would intervene on behalf of this one who has been wronged. Let Your light expose every hidden wrong, and let Your mercy bring about repentance and restitution.

We also want to encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, knowing that God sees your suffering and hears your cries. Psalm 37:5-6 says, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun." Do not grow weary in waiting, for the Lord is faithful to bring justice to His children.

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of delay or resistance that may be hindering this situation. We declare that every obstacle to justice and healing is removed in the mighty name of Jesus. Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your kingdom come in this matter. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’ve been sitting with your request, and we can feel the weariness in your words, two months of silence, no apology, no restitution, and now the weight of a long recovery ahead. That kind of waiting wears on a person, especially when your health and your sense of safety are at stake. We’re truly sorry you’re going through this, and we’re not going to let up in praying with you.

While we pray, we also want to gently ask: have you connected with any local tenant advocacy group or legal aid clinic? In many places, there are people who specifically help tenants recover security deposits and unpaid repair costs, even when a landlord digs in his heels. Sometimes just having an advocate on your side can lift the loneliness of the fight. It sounds like you’ve already carried far too much on your own.

We’re especially heavy-hearted about your skin and the damage you described. Please make sure a doctor you trust is monitoring things closely, healing that may take years deserves good professional care alongside prayer. Not as a substitute for faith, but as a wise way to steward your body while you wait for full restoration.

Lord Jesus, we bring this need before You. Stir the landlord’s heart to do what is right, or open another door for the justice our friend deserves. Return every penny owed and ease the stress that has accumulated. Touch the damaged skin, Lord, rebuild what is broken, calm the itching and pain, and speed healing far beyond what any outlook predicts. Cover them with Your peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances, and let them see Your faithful hand at work. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The trial you endure is sore and heavy upon the spirit. When the dwelling place meant for shelter becomes a source of affliction, and those who ought to act justly withhold what is due, the heart cries out for redress. Yet consider this: the house in which we dwell has God for its Landlord, and we are only tenants. The one who holds the keys of every habitation sees the wrong done within these walls. He marks every injustice, every cruel silence, every penny withheld. The lack of electrical safety, the illness that has marred your skin, the deposit and repair costs unreturned, all this is known to Him who keeps the books of eternity. The rent we pay to the Great Landlord is not coin, but trust. Pay your rent to Him now by leaning the full weight of these sorrows upon His providence. Let the arrears of anxious care be made up by faith.

My soul is grieved that the landlord’s conscience sleeps, that no communication comes, no remorse stirs. How long must the wounded wait for a mere word of repentance? Yet remember, the healing power of our Lord Jesus is not dependent upon the repentance of men. When He came to the man sick of the palsy, He spoke first: "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one! The very least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue, like leaves from the tree of life. Your skin may bear the marks of this affliction, and the path to full restoration may look long and dark. But the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. He can rebuild what damage has marred, restore what the affliction has eaten away, and in His time make even these wounds a testimony. He is the Physician who does not merely point out the disease but applies the remedy. Calvary is the place for healing balm. Trust Him for the body even as you trust Him for the soul.

It is a heavy thing when money owed is kept back, when promises lie broken for months. But I urge you to set your house in order, not the house of brick and beam, but the house of your spirit. The Landlord of all has a right to enter His own property. Let Him come and find no root of bitterness springing up to defile you. The desire for justice is right, but healing must come before serving, and wholeness before the work of advocacy can be pure. He took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lifted her up; first the touch, then the strength, then she ministered. So must it be with you. Healing for the wounded heart comes not through the swift payment of debt, though that is our cry, but through the presence of the Healer Himself. There is more joy over one poor sheep brought low and then restored than over many who seem not to need the Shepherd. Let Him bind up your brokenness first, and from that wholeness shall flow a patient, overcoming spirit.

We will continue to pray that the Holy Spirit awakens the landlord’s conscience. No heart is beyond the stir of that mighty Wind. We pray that communication comes, that the security deposit and repair costs are returned, that the community manager’s word is honored. We pray for the skin to be healed, for the damage to be repaired in God’s good timing. But let your chief plea be this: "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved." The healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till you stand without spot before Him. His salvation will perfectly heal even the body in the day of resurrection, and meanwhile His grace is sufficient. Welcome pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus. Press near to Him now, for in His teaching and presence the healing power is always most manifest. God bless you and give you peace that passes understanding while you wait.

You have endured much injustice, and your body bears the marks of this trial. It is right that you grieve over the wrongs done to you, for God Himself hates a false balance and oppression of the poor. Yet I urge you: do not let this affliction become a snare for your own soul. If you cry out for compensation with a heart burning only for its own rights, you risk making a god of your grievance. Look into your conscience: does it accuse you of any hardness, any unforgiveness? The Lord Himself said that if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours. The prayer that is heard is the prayer that rises from a merciful heart, one that has first loosed every band of injustice and torn up every oppressive contract, including the contract of resentment you may be holding against this landlord.

Let the landlord’s wrong be his own burden before God. Your task is not to awaken his conscience by your anger, but to commit him to the judgment of the One who sees all. The Holy Spirit can stir where no letter or demand can reach, and if it pleases God, that man will repent and restore what he stole. But if not, do not think God is slow to act. The testimony of a clean conscience is your glorying in the midst of suffering. When you have done all that is in your power with integrity, paying even what was not lawfully required, then stand still and give thanks. Yes, give thanks even for this illness, for the skin that afflicts you, for the money lost. Not because the injustice is good, but because God is able to turn all things to the profit of those who love Him. In thanksgiving, the devil is shamed and God draws near. The moment you give thanks from the heart, the sting of the pain is cut short, and peace comes.

I do not tell you this as a stranger to hardship; the Apostle Paul glories in afflictions because the conscience does not reproach him. Do likewise. Say to your soul: “My Lord was stripped of all, and shall I cling to a security deposit? He bore unjust wounds, and shall I not bear a temporary disfigurement?” The skin may take years to heal, but the inward man is being renewed day by day. Use this time to anoint your soul with patience, to cry to God with the persistence of the woman who washed Christ’s feet with her tears. She came with a burden of shame far heavier than yours, yet she left with forgiveness. You too have access to the same Lord through prayer, not demanding, but trusting.

As for the money, remember that the love of it is a root of all kinds of evil. Do not let your heart pine after what is withheld. The landlord may never pay you back; yet Christ promises to repay every good deed done in faith. Bring your need to Him, but with open hands. Say, “Father, if it be possible, let this debt be recovered, yet not my will but Yours be done.” And while you wait, show mercy to others as you hope for mercy. Feed the hungry, cover the naked, and then your own healings will spring forth speedily. Your light shall break forth like the morning, and you will call and the Lord will answer, “Lo, here I am.” The healing of your body may follow, but the healing of your soul will be certain. May the God of all comfort be your portion now, until every wrong is made right in His time.
