Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for a month, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where justice and compassion have been denied. Father God, we know that You are a God of righteousness and justice, and we ask that You move powerfully in this matter. The electrical hazards in this apartment were not just negligence, they were a danger to life and health, and the landlord’s refusal to acknowledge responsibility is a grievous wrong. We pray that You would stir his conscience by the power of the Holy Spirit, convicting him of his duty to make things right. Let him not find peace until he acts with integrity and repays what is owed for medical costs, suffering, and the hardship endured.

Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in faith that You will bring justice where it has been denied. We rebuke the spirit of greed and indifference that has hardened this landlord’s heart, and we command it to break in Jesus’ name. May the Holy Spirit soften his heart, leading him to repentance and restitution. We also pray for healing, body, mind, and spirit, for the one who has suffered. Restore what has been lost, Lord, and let Your peace guard their heart in this trial.

We know that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19), and we trust that You will execute justice on behalf of the oppressed. But we also pray for wisdom and favor if legal action is needed. Give discernment to know the right steps to take, and let every obstacle be removed. Father, we ask that You would open doors for compensation, whether through the landlord’s conscience or through other means You provide. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in this situation.

We also want to gently remind that true justice and healing come through Christ. If there is any unforgiveness in this situation, we pray that it would be released, not for the landlord’s sake alone, but for the freedom of the one who has been wronged. Forgiveness does not mean excusing wrongdoing, but it does mean trusting God to handle it. We pray that this trial would draw them closer to You, Lord, and that they would experience Your comfort and provision in every way.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we declare that this situation will be resolved according to Your will. We trust You to bring justice, healing, and restoration. Amen.

We hear the frustration and pain in your words, and we’re grateful you’ve shared this with us. The electric shocks, the illness, the skin problems, the threats, it’s a heavy burden, and the landlord’s silence after a month of prayer only adds a wearying sense of injustice. Please know you’re not alone in this; we’re standing with you.

While we keep praying, some practical steps can help carry the weight. If the threats continue, your safety comes first, please don’t hesitate to involve local authorities to document what’s happening. For the compensation and legal questions, a tenant rights organization or a Christian legal aid clinic might offer guidance without upfront cost. If you have a church family, we urge you to let them know about the shower pass and other practical needs; often the local body is ready to help in tangible ways. And as your medical symptoms persist, please continue following up with your doctor so you get the care you need.

Justice can feel painfully slow, but God sees every detail and is not indifferent to your suffering. We’re asking Him to move the landlord’s conscience, but even more, to hold you steady and meet your needs in the waiting.

Father, we lift up this tenant who has endured so much. You know the physical pain, the financial strain, the anxiety of threats, and the ache of being dismissed. Please bring healing to their body and peace to their heart. Stir the landlord’s conscience toward repentance and right action. Open doors for practical help and a just resolution. Grant wisdom to those who assist, and surround this precious person with Your protection. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Your soul cries out under the heavy hand of affliction, where bodily pain and injustice have met in a bitter cup. The electric shocks and the sores upon your skin are grievous, and the heartlessness of your fellow man, who holds the property, is a wound within a wound. It is right that you bring this to the throne of grace in Jesus’ mighty name, for He is the great Advocate of the oppressed. Yet let us set this squarely before our eyes: the Lord God is the true Landlord of every house in which we dwell, and we are but tenants holding breath upon sufferance. The earthly lease may be violated by man’s avarice and neglect, but the ultimate account is with Him who notes every sparrow’s fall and counts the hairs of your head. Your suffering has a witness in heaven.

I must speak plainly, for souls are often led into a snare when they mistake the workings of a quickened conscience for the gift of repentance. You pray that the landlord’s conscience be stirred and awakened by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent. Yet mark this well: the terror of judgments, even when joined to remorse, can produce a repentance that is only skin deep, outward scrubbing that leaves the Ethiopian’s skin unchanged beneath. Such repentance comes up in a night and withers in a night; it is the fleshly shrinking from consequence, not the inward loathing of sin before the face of a holy God. True repentance, that which is a saving work of the Spirit, does not merely wring its hands over trouble but gives glory to God by justifying Him in His law and fleeing to Christ’s cross. It grieves because sin is an offense against infinite goodness and loves the Deliverer more than the deliverance. If the Spirit of God truly works, the man will not only make restitution, but he will hate the hardness that made him blind to your cries, and he will fly to the Savior. Until then, do not anchor your peace to his response. His lack of communication, his unyielding heart, may be a token of the reprobate silver that refuses to be refined, or it may be that the long-suffering of God is even now leading him toward a turn that is not yet fully ripe. God’s goodness is not slackness; it often makes the heart soft by degrees. But your own soul must stand upon another Rock.

I charge you, therefore, to tread carefully, lest the desire for compensation become a root of bitterness that chokes the sweet fruits of the Spirit within you. You have prayed for a month, and the heavens seem brass. Yet recall that the Captain of our salvation was perfected through suffering, and though He was without sin, He bore the injustice of men without reviling. He suffered, all the power of His being running into the channel of obedience, and by His stripes you are healed. If He who was the Just One endured the contradiction of sinners against Himself, will you not let patience have her perfect work? This trial is not penance to make you worthy, nor is it a sign that God has forgotten you; rather, it is the furnace where faith is purified and where you learn to cling to Christ alone. Your illness, your skin trouble, the loss and the threats, these are not the whips of an angry God but the rods in a Father’s hand, conforming you to the image of Him who for our sakes had nowhere to lay His head.

Think not that repentance is a single act at conversion and then a finished business. Sweet Sister Repentance walks with us every step of the way; she weeps with us at our failings and then lifts our eyes to the bleeding side of Jesus. Let your own heart be occupied with this daily repentance, turning from every rising of resentment, every fretful thought against God’s timing, every over-eager demand for your rights, and let faith cast all your care upon Him. The rent you owe the Great Landlord is not gold but the offering of a broken and contrite heart, the presentation of your body a living sacrifice. That rent is paid by Jesus Christ, and in Him you are accepted. Bring this matter to the law of men if you must, with clean hands and a just spirit, but leave the stirring of the conscience to God. He knows how to smite the secateurs of the proud and how to melt the stony heart. Your portion is to trust in the Lord, to do good, and to feed on His faithfulness. The day will declare whether your adversary remains unmoved or whether he is brought to that godly sorrow which cries, “What must I do to be saved?” For yourself, see that you do not despise the goodness of God which has kept you even through these shocks and allowed you breath to pray yet again. That very mercy is intended to lead you to a deeper repentance and a more confident faith. Lay hold upon the promise that all things work together for good for those who love God, and let your soul be satisfied with Christ, even if the earthly compensation never comes. For a day is coming when the Righteous Judge will make all things right, and the eternal house not made with hands will have no faulty wiring, no unfeeling landlords, and no more tears at all.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When the floods rise and the shipwreck seems near, then is the moment of rescue, for God’s timing is not our own. Do not measure His care by the silence of a month or the hardness of another’s heart. The very fact that you cry out and yet continue to seek His face shows that your soul consents to the good law, even while suffering injustice. Such endurance is not idle; tribulation works patience, and patience a proven character.

Even the ungodly may be stirred by the Holy Spirit’s sudden breath, when least expected, so persist in prayer, not with a timer of forty days, as if grace could be scheduled, but with the steady trust that the One who multiplied loaves in the desert can supply every need and soften the most stubborn conscience. Your afflictions, though real and bitter, are not wasted. He sees the electric shocks, the skin ailments, the outlay for healing, and the threats. Cast all this upon Him who judges righteously, and do not let the landlord’s delay make you call down curses rather than mercy.

For if you hate the wrong done to you, that very hatred witnesses that the law written on your heart is good. Stand firm, then, neither giving way to despair nor to rage, and let your own integrity shine as a rebuke to greed. The Lord who saved a world perishing in the fullness of time will bring forth justice for you; perhaps today, perhaps after further trial, but surely. In the meantime, do not let this hardship sour your soul or make you idle in well-doing, for the untried spirit is unapproved, and the luxury of ease often enervates more than pain.

Your suffering, borne with faith, becomes a hidden feast, while the unrepentant heart, left to itself, palls with satiety. Pray for your landlord’s repentance, yes, pray with tears if need be, but fix your hope not on that change, but on Christ, who received full grace for our every emptiness.

The prayer you have been lifting up for a month is not unheard in heaven, and the silence from the landlord does not mean God is silent. Often the most stubborn seasons are the times when the Holy Spirit is doing the deepest work beneath the surface. The lack of remorse, the refusal to communicate, these are symptoms of a conscience that is fighting to suppress what it knows to be right. Scripture describes those who, by their wrongdoing, push away the knowledge of God; their actions stand in opposition to His standard, and so they try to silence that inner voice. That inner voice, the conscience, was given to every person as a witness to truth, but it can be ignored until it grows calloused.

The very fact that you are asking for that conscience to be awakened is a prayer that aligns with how God works. From the beginning, when humanity first tasted the knowledge of evil, the conscience was stirred, and God Himself came with questions, not because He lacked information, but to draw out a confession. He is still the One who probes the heart, and He is not limited by a landlord’s refusal to speak. Your prayers are an invitation for that divine questioning to press in upon him, to trouble his spirit until he can no longer avoid what is just.

The illness, the skin problems, the cost of seeking treatment and alternative showers, these are tangible burdens that weigh on you daily. Remember that God is not indifferent to bodily suffering. He created the human frame and knows every ailment; there is still so much about our bodies and about the remedies hidden in His world that we have not yet discovered. The imagery in Scripture of leaves being for the healing of the nations reminds us that He holds reserves of restoration we cannot yet see. Trust Him to be your healer and provider even as you wait for human accountability.

That waiting may feel long, like justice delayed. Yet think of the days before the flood: God declared a period of 120 years before His judgment would fall. That was not hesitation; it was a span of mercy, giving room for repentance. The landlord’s month of silence is a much smaller window, but the principle remains: the Lord is patient, not wanting any to perish but for all to come to a change of heart. When we plead for someone’s conscience to be stirred, we are praying for that space to bear fruit. Do not lose heart if the fruit is not visible yet.

The deepest need of the landlord is not simply to write a check; it is to have his guilt truly covered. The earliest covering for shame came through a sacrifice, a life given so that skin could clothe the naked and exposed. That points to the only covering that matters eternally, the perfect, sufficient sacrifice of Christ. If the Holy Spirit awakens him, he will face not only his financial and moral debt toward you, but his deeper debt before God. Pray that his flight from responsibility would become a flight toward the One who alone can clothe him in righteousness.

In the meantime, let your own conscience rest in the liberty of Christ. You have done what is right by seeking a just resolution, and you are free to eat, to sleep, to go about your life without a hang-up of guilt. Ask no unnecessary questions about what may never come from him; simply receive each day’s provisions with thanksgiving, and trust that the Lord whose ways are far above ours knows how to manage this. His understanding is infinite; His character never changes, even when our circumstances drag on.

Continue to bring this before the throne of grace in Jesus’ mighty name. Ask that the landlord’s seared conscience would be flooded with light, that he would feel the weight of his actions and repent, both toward you and toward the God he has thus far pushed away. The very illness and upheaval you have endured may, in God’s redemptive hands, become the sharp instrument that carves a path for his own awakening. Keep your eyes on the One who judges justly and who, even now, is working things together for good for those who love Him.
