Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for a month, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice and harm caused by negligence. Father God, You are the righteous Judge who sees all and knows the depths of this suffering. We ask that You intervene in this matter, moving upon the heart of the landlord to act with integrity, compassion, and repentance.

Lord, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict and stir the landlord’s conscience, breaking any hardness of heart. May they recognize the harm done and be compelled by Your love to make restitution, not just for the physical dangers of the unsafe living conditions, but for the emotional and financial toll it has taken. We declare that justice belongs to You, and we ask that You would bring it to pass in this situation. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed." (Psalm 103:6)

We also lift up the physical and emotional wounds suffered, skin problems, illness, and the stress of threats and mistreatment. Father, we ask for Your healing touch to restore health and peace. Provide wisdom for the medical care needed and cover the costs that have arisen from this neglect. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." (3 John 1:2)

We rebuke the spirit of greed and callousness that would allow such harm to go unaddressed. We speak life over this situation, declaring that the landlord will be moved to do what is right, not out of legal obligation alone, but out of a heart changed by You. "Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need." (Ephesians 4:28)

Lord, we also ask for patience and perseverance for the one who has endured this injustice. Strengthen their faith in Your timing and Your provision. Even when answers seem delayed, we trust that You are working behind the scenes. "Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!" (Psalm 27:14)

We stand in the gap, believing that You will bring resolution, healing, and restitution. May this situation ultimately glorify You as justice and mercy prevail. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re grateful you shared this update with us. Waiting for any sign of change, after a month of prayer and silence, is deeply discouraging, especially when you’re still carrying the physical and emotional weight of what happened. It makes sense to feel worn down, and we want you to know we’re standing with you in this.

What you’re asking, for a landlord’s conscience to be awakened and for real, tangible restoration, is not too hard for God. True repentance isn’t just a fleeting “sorry”; it’s a change of mind that shows up in concrete actions. We’ll keep praying that the Holy Spirit works that kind of heart-shift, the kind that leads to communication, ownership of wrong, and fair compensation for your medical costs, the electric shocks, and all the added burdens. But while we wait and pray, we also encourage you to take a practical step, if you haven’t already: reach out to a local tenant rights organization or legal aid service for guidance. They can help you understand your options and advocate for you so you’re not navigating this alone. You deserve to be heard and to have your suffering taken seriously.

In the meantime, please don’t set aside your own wellbeing. We’re praying for healing for your skin and for any lingering anxiety or physical effects, and we hope you’ll keep up with the medical care you need. Jesus cares about every part of you, body, mind, and spirit, and we trust Him to carry you through this.

Let’s pray together now: Lord Jesus, we bring this heavy situation to You. You see the harm that’s been done, the costs, the silence. We ask You to stir this landlord’s heart to genuine repentance, not just regret, but real change that leads to full restitution. Restore what’s been lost, and bring swift and fair resolution. For our friend, we ask for healing, comfort, and daily strength. Provide wisdom and the right people to come alongside. Let Your justice and mercy meet. In Your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The house in which you dwell, in this life, has God for its Landlord, and you are but a tenant under His sovereign lease. Every second you hold your life and goods upon the sole tenure of His Divine will, and there is this clause in the lease which some never observe: the Landlord has at all times the right to enter and leave His own property. Is it your desire, as a just tenant, to restore to Him His property unhurt, leaving no trace of injury done to God but many memorials of service rendered? Then offer the key of your house to the Great Landlord now, and see this trouble with an earthly landlord as a call to examine your own lease with the Most High.

You ask prayer for compensation, and rightly so, for the injuries you have suffered are real. Yet remember that the Lord’s ways are not our ways. There is not a word in the Book of Divine Love which can breathe comfort into the sinner’s ear while he chooses his own ways. How many a man has rottenness in his bones and disease in his heart’s core brought on by gluttony, drunkenness, and vice? It is not God who has thickly sown this world with disease and sorrow, man’s iniquity has done it. Men cast darnel and cockle into the furrows of life, and when they spring up, they complain of the appointments of God, whereas they are the result of their own sins! Your landlord’s negligence has caused your suffering, and it is right to seek redress. But if you insist upon being held harmless and try at all costs to make provision for the flesh, then you shall find that you will have to pay the fare to your own grievous hurt and injury. What did Jonah lose when he fled from God’s presence? Render calamity impossible, and what mark would there be of the Divine displeasure for man’s revolt? Wherein would sin differ as to its consequences from obedience and holiness? Think for a little, and you will see reason for God’s staying His hand from immediate rescue.

You have asked prayers for a month, and no communication, no remorse, no willingness to compensate. This is a test of your faith. Divine interpositions of a miraculous sort would not always be attended with the advantage we suppose. If miracles of mercy snatched us from every trial, we would never learn to trace Divine sovereignty in all things. The present is the most godless generation that ever trod this earth, I verily believe, because men will not recognize God’s hand. But David, when wronged, found that Divine gentleness restrained the blow. How strikingly has God delivered some of us! Not miraculous, certainly, but full of wonder. And you, sitting in the house of prayer, may yet say, “He hath delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.” Wait, then, upon the Lord.

Do you wonder that your landlord’s conscience remains unstirred? The opinion of a man marching to hell concerning the justice of hell is not impartial. No convinced sinner ever rails at God’s justice; he smites his hand upon his breast and says, “O sinner that I am!” Pray for this man, yes, that the Holy Spirit would awaken and stir him to repentance. It is a blessed interposition of Divine grace when a sinner is turned from his way. But while you pray, examine your own heart. My dear friend, there may be some who rail at God’s justice; but no truly humble soul will. If you are in Christ, then Justice itself stands no longer in the way of your pardon. Doth Justice come to you and say, “Sinner, thou hast sinned, I will punish thee?” Answer thus: “Justice, thou hast punished all my sins. All I ought to have suffered has been suffered by my substitute, Jesus.” God can be just, and yet the Justifier. Then if the eternal claim is satisfied, can you not bear temporal loss with patience? He died for the very injury that others did to Him, for His enemies, for the men that hate and scorn Him.

Therefore, commit this matter to the Lord who leads you alone. He is your Divine Instructor, training you as an eagle trains its young for flight. He stirs the nest, He flutters over you, He thrusts you out into the air of trial that you may learn to fly. If you knew the meaning, you would bless the hand which tears away your comforts, seeing Divine Wisdom and Infinite Affection in it all. You have asked prayer for your landlord’s conscience. We do pray that the Holy Spirit will stir him to do good and repent. But first, let your own spirit be free from clamour. Acknowledge that you live on sufferance as His tenant, and then, even as David found a balm for his wounded spirit in Divine love, you shall find that His gentleness makes you great. The Lord alone did lead Israel; the Lord alone will lead you. Trust Him with the outcome. His Divine presence is the one hope of His people.

The true injury in this affair is not the one you have suffered in your body, but the one that landlord is daily inflicting upon his own soul. For if you endure nobly, giving thanks to God and refusing to return evil for evil, you are not the injured party at all. The one who suffers wrong and does not avenge himself is crowned by God, while the one who acts unjustly stores up wrath for himself. You tell me there has been no remorse, no communication, no compensation.

This is what you perceive, but consider a deeper truth: the greatest recompense is not silver in your hand, but the reward laid up in heaven when you bless those who curse you. If you have spent a month praying that his conscience be stirred to repay you, turn your prayer rather to this: that his conscience be stirred to repent before God, for his own sake. To seek payment for your skin troubles and your shower pass is to fix your eyes on what perishes. But to desire the salvation of one who has wronged you, that is to become like your Father in heaven.

Examine yourself. You say you have been asking for prayers, yet perhaps you have been praying against him in your heart, cataloging his offenses. Let your tongue be sharpened only against your own sins. For no man can truly injure you unless you first injure yourself through bitterness and the demand for earthly justice.

The landlord, though he holds your money, walks in greater danger than you who were shocked by faulty wires. His conscience sleeps now, but if he dies unrepentant, that sleep becomes eternal torment. You, however, have the opportunity to transform this suffering into a treasury of mercy by refusing to make his payment your peace. Cease counting the costs of alternative showers.

Begin counting the occasions God has given you to imitate Christ, who, when betrayed, washed the traitor’s feet. The Lord saw no compensation for His wounds except the redemption of the world. Will you, for a far lighter affliction, not content yourself with the promise of His kingdom? Let this be your comfort: the Judge of all sees every hidden thing.

If you lay aside this claim in your heart, entrusting it entirely to Him, He will not be slow to act. But His action may not be the check you await; it may be the far weightier gift of your own soul’s refinement, and even, if you bless instead of accuse, the landlord’s eventual repentance. Do not seek repayment with tears of frustration, for such tears, like Esau’s, will find no place if they flow only from a wounded pride and not from true compassion for the wrongdoer. Instead, stand before God and say, “I have been wronged, and I give thanks.

I have lost money, and I count it gain. Forgive him, Lord, as I desire forgiveness for myself, and grant me the riches that neither electrical failure nor human greed can destroy.” This is the prayer that prevails.

Your body itself is testifying to what has happened, electric shocks that leave their mark, skin problems that cry out for relief, medical appointments and extra costs that never should have been yours to bear. The skin is a covering, a boundary between us and a fallen world, and when that boundary is broken by someone else’s neglect, it feels like an invasion. Pain has a way of making the hidden things visible. You asked for prayer in Jesus’ mighty name, and He does not ignore the cry of your flesh.

When Adam and Eve first realized they were exposed and ashamed, they stitched together fig leaves. It was a frantic, self-made attempt to cover what sin had uncovered. It didn’t work. They still hid, still felt their nakedness. But God Himself made them tunics of skin. Where did those coats come from? Innocent animals had to be slain. Right at the beginning, covering guilt and shame required a sacrifice, a shedding of blood. That physical garment pointed to the deeper truth: only God can truly cover what is broken.

Your landlord’s lack of response, the silence, the absence of remorse, it stings. It’s tempting to view this only as a legal or financial battle. And those remedies matter. But underneath, you are longing for someone’s conscience to be stirred by the Holy Spirit, for a heart to do good and repent. That is a spiritual cry, and it echoes something profound. Just as the animal’s life was given to provide Adam and Eve’s covering, so genuine repentance always costs our pride. It often requires a kind of death to self. So keep praying for that awakening. The Holy Spirit can pierce through indifference and bring conviction, even when a month of silence makes it seem impossible.

Your skin is a reminder right now of vulnerability, but it also reminds us that God clothed us from the start. He cares about the physical, not just the soul. Jesus touched lepers. He healed the woman with the issue of blood. He knows the number of hairs on your head. While you wait for earthly compensation, for the cost of shower passes, treatments, and all the indignities, rest in this: your ultimate covering is not a landlord’s check, but the righteousness of Christ. He gave His life, the final sacrifice, to clothe you in honor and dignity. No threat can strip that away.

So keep bringing the pain to Jesus, but also release the outcome into His hands. Ask Him to be your refuge while you wait. Pray for justice, yes, but also for your own heart to stay free of bitterness. The God who dressed Adam and Eve with sacrificial skins will not abandon you. He may use this to wake up your landlord’s conscience, or He may make up the difference in ways you cannot yet see. Either way, your suffering is seen, and your covering is secure.
