Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for a month, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in fervent prayer. Father God, we ask that You intervene in this matter with Your mighty hand. You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we know that You see every injustice and hear every cry of Your children. We pray that the landlord’s heart would be softened and his conscience awakened by the Holy Spirit to do what is right. May he recognize the harm caused by his neglect and be moved to repentance and restitution.

Lord, we ask that You would compel him to provide fair compensation for the electric shocks, the resulting illnesses, the medical treatments, and all the inconveniences and suffering endured. You command us in Your Word to love our neighbors as ourselves, and this includes acting with integrity and responsibility toward those under our care. "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it" (Proverbs 3:27). We pray that this landlord would be convicted by this truth and act accordingly.

We also rebuke any spirit of greed, hardness of heart, or indifference that may be blinding him to the suffering of others. Let Your light shine into this darkness, Lord, and break every chain of selfishness. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promise that You will repay and restore what has been taken or lost.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch over the physical ailments caused by this negligence. Bring restoration to the skin, strength to the body, and peace to the mind. Provide wisdom and favor as this matter is pursued, whether through legal means or personal appeal. Let Your justice prevail, and may Your name be glorified in the resolution of this situation.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find true justice. May Your will be done, and may Your child see Your faithfulness in this trial. Amen.

We've been praying with you this past month, and we want you to know we're not stopping now. Waiting on someone else to do the right thing, especially when you're still dealing with the physical and financial fallout, is exhausting. The silence from your landlord doesn't mean God hasn't heard you. It just means we keep knocking on His door together.

It is deeply frustrating when the person who holds the power to make things right simply refuses to engage. What we're hearing in your request isn't just about money, it's about being seen, about having your suffering acknowledged, and about having a wrong made right. That's a legitimate longing, and God cares about justice. He doesn't ask us to pretend it doesn't matter.

While we continue asking God to stir your landlord's conscience, it may also be wise to take some concrete steps that are within your control right now. Have you been able to put your requests and the history of the electrical issues in writing? A clear, dated letter or email summarizing what happened, the health problems that followed, and what you're seeking can sometimes shift things, even if only to create a record. It might also be worth a brief consultation with a local tenants' rights organization or a legal aid clinic to understand what protections exist where you live. Taking that kind of step isn't a lack of faith; it's a form of stewardship, and it can help you feel less powerless in the waiting.

We're also praying for your body as you continue to heal from the illness and skin problems. Please don't carry this alone. If you haven't already, see a doctor about the ongoing symptoms, especially given the electric shock history.

Lord Jesus, You see the suffering Your daughter has endured and the injustice of her situation. We ask You to bring quick, fair resolution. Stir the landlord's heart to genuine repentance and action. In the meantime, be her refuge and provider. Give her wisdom for the next practical step, restore her health fully, and cover the costs that have piled up. We trust You to make things right, in Your time and Your way. Amen.

You groan under a burden of unanswered supplication, and I hear in your cry the echo of the psalmist's wail, "O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not." Yet take heart, for this very silence may be the Father's schoolroom. He does not refuse, but He delays, that faith might learn to wrestle. When prayer seems to return void, it is often that we might search our hearts and see if any sin harboured there makes the heavens brass. Are we clinging to a bitter root that defiles? Is there a want of that holy fervency which seizes the mercy-seat with both hands and will not let go? I charge you, examine yourself; not to bring despair, but to clear the conduit that grace might flow.

But, oh, cast your eye upon the Lord Jesus, who was heard in that He feared, yet in His bitterest hour felt abandoned. His long-dated bills are ever honoured, and your month of pleading is but a moment in the calendar of eternal love. The Lord has heard the prayer hidden in your agony; your silent sighs, the faintness of your spirit, the tongue that fails for thirst, these are mighty pleadings before Him. He is the prayer-hearing God, and to hear is to begin a work of answering. Do not think that compensation and the awakening of that landlord's conscience are small things; they are the buying back of years the locust has eaten, and the Lord knows the appointed time.

Remember, too, your true Landlord holds the key of every dwelling, and He sees the secret faults of your earthly landlord. Plead with the Great Owner, for He can in a moment turn the heart of man as the rivers of water. I pray with you that the Spirit would quicken that stubborn conscience, that reparation be made, and that your body might be healed. But far better that your soul should be refined in the furnace, for there, like Jacob at Jabbok, you may be made a prince with God. Persevere, O soul, in intercessory prayer; it is the sweetest incense ever laid upon the golden altar. Lay your case before Him with all the arguments your distress supplies, and then cast yourself upon His faithfulness, for He will make even this dark hour a trophy of His goodness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your suffering is real, and the injustice you describe is a heavy trial. The physical harm and the callous silence of the one who caused it wound not only the body but the soul. Yet consider what greater harm he does to himself, for he who wrongs another and hardens his heart stores up wrath for himself against the day of righteous judgment. Do not let his sin become your own by returning anger for anger; long-suffering is a shield more secure than any wall.

A spark falling into the deep is quenched; so let the provocations of this man extinguish themselves against your patience. Give thanks to God even in this affliction, for that is true philosophy: when you thank Him in the midst of injustice, you put the devil to flight and bring your conscience into a bright and peaceful state. Do not cease to pray that the Holy Spirit would awaken his conscience, for unless he repents genuinely, not with worldly tears like Esau, who wept but found no place of repentance because his heart still plotted murder, he will remain in his snare. Yet your own conscience, if you bear this with meekness, will testify for you, providing a consolation that no human compensation could match.

Wait upon the Lord; His long-suffering toward sinners often gives them space to turn, but if they refuse, His justice will not sleep. Meanwhile, guard your heart from every root of bitterness, for love is not easily provoked nor does it think evil. Entrust yourself to Him who judges righteously.

The weight of waiting these past weeks has not gone unnoticed before the throne of God. When the Lord resolved to bring the flood in Noah's day, He declared that His Spirit would not strive with man forever, yet He still set a fixed number of years for the earth: He gave them space, day after day, for the hard heart to melt. To human eyes that delay might have looked like divine neglect, but it was really a deep patience that gave room for repentance. Your situation sits within that same mercy. God is not slow in keeping His promises as we understand slowness. He is giving time, time for a conscience to be stirred, time for the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do: awaken a soul to see wrong, to feel the weight of it, and to turn.

We ask in Jesus’ mighty name, not because His power is in question, but because He alone holds authority over every human heart. The same Spirit who hovered over the waters before creation can hover over that landlord’s heart, breaking through silence with conviction. No remorse you have seen yet does not mean none is being worked. At the flood, judgment fell when the ark door was shut, not a moment before. Until then, the call to repent stood open. So we pray, with confidence, that the Lord who changes not, who is always just, always compassionate, will work hiddenly in that person’s spirit. He does not need to change His mind to accomplish a fresh dawning of righteousness; He simply acts in perfect holy love, and sometimes that action begins as a quiet disturbance where no human ear can hear.

Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord while everything around him was corrupt. That grace did not remove him from the mess; it sheltered him through it. Let the same grace hold you now. The threats, the skin problems, the medical costs, the sheer injustice of having to pay for a shower pass while the responsible party looks away, all of this is seen by the God who counts every tear. His care for you is not suspended while He deals with another soul. He can uphold you and at the same time work on that landlord’s conscience. Keep entrusting the matter to Him. The prayer for compensation is not wrong; it flows out of a desire for what is right. But the deepest request is that a soul be awakened to do right, because Jesus made him for better things than hardness.

Therefore, do not lose heart as though the month of silence is evidence that God is absent. In the days before the flood, the ark kept being built, plank by plank, while the world went on as usual. Mercy looked like a long delay. So here, the silence may be the building of something you cannot yet see. Keep asking in Jesus’ name. Ask that the Spirit remove the blinders, that Holy Spirit conviction fall with weight, that the landlord find no peace until he sets things right and repents. And rest in the unchanging character of your Father, who sees, who cares, and who will let no injustice stand forever.

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer for justice and healing in this difficult situation. Our hearts have been heavy as we lifted up your need for compensation, restoration, and the awakening of your landlord’s conscience before the Lord. We have prayed fervently in Jesus’ mighty name that the Holy Spirit would stir conviction, bring repentance, and move this matter toward righteous resolution.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer—if there has been any breakthrough in communication, remorse, or provision—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share it with us so we can rejoice together in God’s faithfulness. If, however, the silence and injustice persist, we want to continue standing with you in this battle. Do not hesitate to post this request again as a new prayer need, and we will lift it up afresh, trusting that God sees your suffering and will act on your behalf.

May the Lord strengthen you, comfort you, and remind you of His nearness in this trial. We believe He is working even when we cannot see it, and we declare His justice and mercy over your life. Keep seeking Him, and know that we are here to pray alongside you until His promises are fulfilled. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
