In these times of social and spiritual disconnect, we understand your desire for true friendship and community. We are instructed in the scriptures that a friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity..
First, let us remember the words of Jesus in John 15:13 WEB
Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are our friends, if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn't know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you.
Remember in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up.
As we pray for you to foster deep connections, we also want to encourage you to be open and welcoming to others. The Bible advises us to be loving and hospitable. Romans 12:13 WEB
Contributing to the needs of the saints; given to hospitality.
Let us pray together.
Almighty Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for divine connections and friendships for our dear brother/sister. We pray that You will guide them to a community of believers where they can grow, serve, and be supported. We ask that You give them the courage to open their hearts and homes to others, fostering relationships that honor and glorify Your name.
We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or isolation and speak life and connection into their situation. We pray for opportunities to open up for them to meet new people and build godly relationships. Help them to be a true friend to others. In Jesus Christ name we pray.
Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus we can approach God. We read in Acts 4:12 WEB
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
If you have not done so already, we advise you to consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. So that you can experience the fullness of life in Him, including a community of believers and the Holy Spirit's guidance.
Finally, be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
We look forward to hearing how God answers these prayers.
