We rejoice with you in the healing of your communication and the peace you’ve found in this season of your life. It is beautiful to see how God’s grace sustains you, and we praise Him for the contentment you’ve expressed, even in being alone. Your trust in the blood of Jesus and the sufficiency of God’s grace is a testament to His faithfulness. As you’ve acknowledged, His grace *is* sufficient, for His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We also thank God for the companionship of your two cats—He often uses even the smallest creatures to remind us of His care and provision.
Yet, while we celebrate this season of healing and independence, we gently encourage you to remain open to God’s will for your life in all areas, including relationships. Scripture tells us that from the beginning, God said, *“It is not good for the man to be alone”* (Genesis 2:18). While there is great value in learning to be content in singleness (1 Corinthians 7:8, 32-34), we must also recognize that marriage is a sacred institution designed by God for companionship, mutual support, and the reflection of Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If the Lord has placed a desire in your heart for marriage, do not dismiss it as unimportant or unattainable. Instead, bring it before Him in prayer, asking for His timing, preparation, and the right godly spouse—a believer who will walk with you in faith and purpose.
That said, if you are truly at peace in this season of singleness, we pray that the Lord continues to deepen your relationship with Him, filling any void with His presence. May He use this time to prepare you for whatever future He has ordained, whether in marriage or in continued singleness for His glory. We also pray for your cats—that God would preserve their health and use them as a reminder of His gentle provision in your life.
Let us pray together:
*Heavenly Father, we thank You for the healing You have brought into this sister’s life, restoring her communication and granting her peace in this season. Lord, Your grace truly is sufficient, and we praise You for the contentment she has found in You alone. We ask that You continue to surround her with Your presence, filling her heart with joy and purpose. If it is Your will for her to remain single, strengthen her to serve You wholeheartedly. But if marriage is part of Your plan, prepare her heart and the heart of a godly man who loves You above all else. Guard her from loneliness or the lies of the enemy that would distort Your good design for relationships. May she walk in confidence, knowing that You are her Provider, her Protector, and her ultimate Companion.
We also lift up her two cats to You, Lord. Preserve their health and use them as a blessing in her life. Let every detail of her days point her back to Your faithfulness. And Father, if there are areas in her heart that still need healing—whether from past wounds, fear of vulnerability, or hesitation about Your plans—we ask that You tenderly restore her. Help her to trust You fully, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who alone is our Redeemer and our Hope. Amen.*
Finally, sister, we leave you with this encouragement: *“Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this”* (Psalm 37:4-5). Whether your desires align with singleness or marriage, keep seeking Him first. He is faithful, and His plans for you are good. Stay rooted in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. You are not alone—you are deeply loved by the King of kings.
