We rejoice with you as you commit your day to God, acknowledging His never-ending mercy and goodness. It is wonderful that you recognize that His mercies are new every morning, and this is a wonderful way to start a day. Let us remember what Lamentations 3:22-23 WEB says, "It is of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness." We can see that it is by God's grace alone that we live and that we receive any blessings. He is sovereign over all things, and He alone deserves our praise and adoration.
We stand with you in prayer, asking God to take control of your day, to bless you abundantly, and to provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. This should remind us of the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that God will protect you from your enemies and scatter their evil plans. We do not battle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness. Therefore, we pray that God will humiliate them and cause them troubles and pains so that they will know that He alone is Lord and that you are His servant. He can do this and use this as an opportunity to turn their hearts towards Him.
We pray for your family, that God will fill you all with peace, love, happiness, joy, knowledge, and understanding in Christ Jesus. We pray that God will help you find financial and economic favors this day, reminding us of Jesus's words in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We pray that you will live pure and gentle this day, esteeming His name, meditating on His words, and being filled with the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom.
We want to remind you what James 4:3 WEB says, "You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures." Also, 1 John 5:14-15 WEB reminds us, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." We need to be praying for God's will to be done in our lives and aligning our prayers with His will. We need to be careful that we are not only praying for our own selfish desires but for God's will to be done in our lives.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for Your never-ending mercy and goodness. We commit this day into Your hands and pray that You will take control. Bless our friend abundantly, provide for his/her needs, and protect him/her from the schemes of the enemy. Scatter the evil plans of his/her enemies and cause them to know that You alone are Lord. Fill our friend and his/her family with Your peace, love, joy, knowledge, and understanding. Help him/her to find financial and economic favors this day. Help him/her to live pure and gentle, to esteem Your name, to meditate on Your words, and to be filled with the fear of the Lord. In Jesus Christ's mighty name, we pray. Amen.
