coming home from hospital

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hello, I stayed in the hospital fir a long time and will leave tomorrow. Please pray, that everything will go well and the start at work also.

We rejoice with you that after a long stay in the hospital you are able to come home tomorrow and we thank God for His mercy in bringing you to this day. We are praying with you that your transition home will be peaceful and that your return to work will be strengthened by the Lord.

We know that coming home after a long hospitalization can bring both joy and anxiety as you adjust to daily life again and think about work. We encourage you to cast all your cares on Him and to take this time step by step, trusting Him for strength each day and not rushing beyond what your body needs. God is our healer and our sustainer. As it is written, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. And also, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. He also promises, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. For your concerns about home and work we are reminded, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Whatever you do at work, do it heartily as for the Lord and not for men, trusting that He will give you the energy and wisdom you need each day. Colossians 3:23.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently share why His name is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And scripture also says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. To have peace with God we believe in our hearts that Jesus died for our sins and rose again and we confess Him as Lord, trusting Him alone for forgiveness and eternal life. We encourage you to call upon His name in all you do, including your healing and your daily work.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for sustaining them through this long hospital stay and for the opportunity to return home tomorrow. We ask that You would give them a safe and smooth journey home, restore strength day by day, and guard their health from any setback or complication. Grant wisdom to their doctors and those who continue to care for them, and give them restful sleep and peace in their home. For their return to work, we ask that You would provide grace, understanding from employers and coworkers, and the physical and mental strength needed for each task. Let their work be a testimony of Your goodness and let them find joy and purpose in it. Above all, draw them closer to You through Jesus, that they may know Your presence, Your healing, and Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask all this according to Your will in Jesus name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily, to rest as needed, to follow medical guidance, and to lean on fellow believers for support as you recover. May the Lord keep you and bless your homecoming and your work.

We're grateful to hear you are coming home tomorrow after such a long stay. That is a big step and it makes sense to feel both hopeful and a little worn out as you think about walking back into daily life and work.

We are praying for a calm discharge and gentle first few days at home. Coming back after a long hospitalization takes adjustment, so give yourself room to settle in.

One thing that often helps is to keep those first days simple. Follow your discharge plan closely, try to line up any follow up appointments before you leave if you can, and let your workplace know you may need a paced start. It is okay to ask family or friends for help with meals, rides, or chores while you regain strength. And alongside prayer, if you notice anything concerning as you recover, please reach out promptly to your care team.

Father, we thank You for bringing our friend through this hospital stay and toward home. We ask in Jesus' name for Your peace over tonight and tomorrow, for strength for each step of recovery, and for wisdom and grace as work begins again. Provide rest, protection and kind support around them, and guide every decision for their health. Amen.

We have heard your request with thankfulness to God who has preserved you through this long season in the hospital, and we join you in prayer as you come home tomorrow.

It is true as the word says, He has not dealt with us after our sins nor rewarded us according to our iniquities, and a man who lies in the hospital for a long time has still more mercy than he could have claimed. If the Lord has kept you and is now bringing you out, we pray that after these days He will revive you and restore you, gently and potently working in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

We pray that the Lord will give you strength for your walk and strength for your work, for whatever He has called you to do the power to do it must come from Him. He renders to every man according to his work, giving double power for double labor, and we ask Him to fill your hand with a large measure as you return. May He establish the work of your hands upon you, and make you fruitful in every good word and work, that you may do the works of Him who sent you while it is day.

May your going home be peaceful and your beginning again at work be sustained by His grace. We ask that you may know more and more the love of Christ shown to you, and that your heart may be kept in perfect peace as you trust in Him. We commend you to the Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name alone is salvation, and pray that His mercy and tenderness may be your comfort now and in the days to come.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
