Hi, my name Is Chikiya I am a current senior in my high school and Im trying to get accepted into a college with maybe even getting a scholarship. I will be applying to Coppin state University which is not to close to home or to far and I will be able to get in state tution. They will be arriving at my high school tomorrow for on site admission which will save me money. My problem is that they require 800 on the SAT and i only have 760 ..yes 40 points away.. which highly makes me upset.The admission counselor told me that I did pretty well for not taking a prep class unlike some student who take the class and get my score. Im really trying to get into a school i will work hard and do what I have to do. The only thing is Im hoping they accept me since I have the gpa and close enough score to get in. He told me that they could take that into consideration, but also said that they have turn down students with a gpa of 3.0 but they didnt reach the SAT score.
