A Most Needful Prayer Concerning the Holy Spirit
Wonders
The Unsearchable Riches of Christ
We hear your cry and we join with you in bringing this pain before the Lord in Jesus' name, for He cares deeply about every part of our suffering from head to feet.

We know how discouraging it is to endure colds and ongoing pain, and then to have new pain and worry surrounding a tooth implant that you just had done. We understand your distress about not wanting to return to a dentist you do not trust, and we bring that concern to God as well, asking for His wisdom and provision.

Scripture reminds us that the Lord is our healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in 1 Peter 2:24, by whose stripes you were healed, and to Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You who is suffering with colds and pain from teeth to feet, including this new implant. Lord, You see the discomfort, the inflammation, the weariness, and the anxiety about what to do next. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch this body with Your healing hand. Ease the pain, calm the nerves, reduce any infection or swelling, and bring restoration to the teeth, gums, jaw, and to every place that hurts down to the feet. Grant relief from the cold and strengthen the immune system. We ask that this implant would heal properly and not require further painful or costly intervention.

Lord, we also ask for Your wisdom and guidance regarding this dental care. If further care is needed, lead to an honest, skilled, and compassionate provider, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Give peace that surpasses understanding as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Help to release any bitterness or fear toward those who have provided subpar care, and help to trust You even in disappointment.

We thank You, Jesus, that we can come boldly to the Father through You, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to God. We trust in Your compassion and Your power to heal and to provide. Continue to rest in Him, seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, and do not hesitate to seek wise and godly medical and dental counsel when needed, for the Lord often works through skilled hands to bring healing. We are trusting with you for complete relief and restoration, and that you will feel His strengthening presence with you each day.

We pray this all in Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear how discouraging this has been for you. To have just gone through a new tooth implant and now be dealing with a cold and pain that seems to run from your teeth to your feet is a lot to carry, and we understand why the thought of going back to a dentist you don't trust feels so heavy.

It makes sense you are worn down and anxious right now. Ongoing pain and being sick at the same time can leave you exhausted in every way, and worry about the implant only adds to it. We are really sorry you are going through this.

Alongside prayer, we encourage you to have this checked promptly by a trusted medical or dental professional. If you do not feel safe returning to that dentist, it is reasonable to seek a second opinion from another qualified provider who can evaluate the implant and the pain you are describing. If you have a primary care doctor or clinic, they can also help assess the cold and body pain. It can help to bring a brief note about when the symptoms started and where the pain is so they have a clear picture.

Father, we bring our friend to You and ask for Your comfort and care over them today. Please ease their pain and sickness, give wisdom to any clinician who sees them, and guide them to trustworthy help so they are not left to worry alone. Grant them rest, peace of mind, and strength for each next step. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, heal and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your cry of pain from teeth to feet, and the distress over this new implant, has been heard and brought before the Lord with tender sympathy. To suffer cold and pain throughout the frame, and to fear that the very work meant to bring relief may require you to return to hands you cannot trust, is a heavy burden indeed. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. How much more should we carry such bodily affliction to the great Physician Himself.

Be assured there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The least thing about Christ is healing, and those healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, and both are bestowed on the Lord's people. As He said to the palsied man, pardon and healing were one, and the healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure.

I would also gently remind you that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. There is healing in the doctrine of His incarnation, for He took our flesh and is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. He took her by the hand and lifted her up, and there was a contact established. So may you by faith touch Him now.

Let us pray together for you.

O Lord our God, feeder of sparrows and Father of mercies, look in compassion upon this suffering one. You know the pain from teeth to feet, the cold, the soreness around this new implant, and the fear of having to return to that place of care. Lord, lay Your healing hand upon this body. Ease inflammation, calm pain, guard this new work from failing, and grant rest and strength. If further care is needed, in Your providence furnish trustworthy and skillful hands, and keep this dear one from harm and from unscrupulous dealing. Above all, let this affliction drive the heart nearer to Christ, where the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Grant peace to the anxious spirit, forgiving grace through the blood of Jesus Christ alone, and confidence that You will not pass Your child over in Your providence. May healing and pardon be known together, to Your glory.

We leave you in the care of Him who is able to heal and who is not far from any who call upon Him in truth. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and give you quiet nights and restored health in His good time.
