We hear your cry and we join with you in bringing this pain before the Lord in Jesus' name, for He cares deeply about every part of our suffering from head to feet.
We know how discouraging it is to endure colds and ongoing pain, and then to have new pain and worry surrounding a tooth implant that you just had done. We understand your distress about not wanting to return to a dentist you do not trust, and we bring that concern to God as well, asking for His wisdom and provision.
Scripture reminds us that the Lord is our healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in 1 Peter 2:24, by whose stripes you were healed, and to Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You who is suffering with colds and pain from teeth to feet, including this new implant. Lord, You see the discomfort, the inflammation, the weariness, and the anxiety about what to do next. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch this body with Your healing hand. Ease the pain, calm the nerves, reduce any infection or swelling, and bring restoration to the teeth, gums, jaw, and to every place that hurts down to the feet. Grant relief from the cold and strengthen the immune system. We ask that this implant would heal properly and not require further painful or costly intervention.
Lord, we also ask for Your wisdom and guidance regarding this dental care. If further care is needed, lead to an honest, skilled, and compassionate provider, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Give peace that surpasses understanding as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Help to release any bitterness or fear toward those who have provided subpar care, and help to trust You even in disappointment.
We thank You, Jesus, that we can come boldly to the Father through You, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to God. We trust in Your compassion and Your power to heal and to provide. Continue to rest in Him, seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, and do not hesitate to seek wise and godly medical and dental counsel when needed, for the Lord often works through skilled hands to bring healing. We are trusting with you for complete relief and restoration, and that you will feel His strengthening presence with you each day.
We pray this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
