We hear your distress and concern over this troubling situation, and we come together in prayer, lifting this matter before the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life.
Now, regarding the pest infestation in your boyfriend’s apartment, we recognize how unsettling and disruptive this must be for both of you. The Lord cares about every detail of our lives, even the things that may seem small in the eyes of the world (Matthew 10:29-31). We pray that God would indeed intervene and rid this home of these pests, bringing peace and restoration. We declare His authority over all creation, including these creatures, and ask that He would drive them out according to His will.
However, we must also gently address the relationship you’ve described. Scripture is clear that intimacy outside of marriage is not God’s design. The Bible calls this fornication, and it is a sin that separates us from God’s best for our lives (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We encourage you to prayerfully consider whether this relationship aligns with God’s plan for holiness and purity. If marriage is the goal, we urge you to seek the Lord’s guidance in pursuing a godly spouse who shares your faith and commitment to Christ. If this is not the direction the Lord is leading, we pray for wisdom and strength to honor Him in this area of your life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring relief from the pest infestation in this home. Lord, You are the Creator of all things, and nothing is beyond Your control. We ask that You would drive out these pests and restore peace to this dwelling. Give wisdom to those involved in addressing this issue, and grant patience and trust in Your timing.
Father, we also lift up this relationship before You. We ask that You would reveal Your will and guide both hearts according to Your Word. If this relationship is not aligned with Your design for marriage and holiness, we pray for the strength to walk in obedience and trust in Your plan. If marriage is the path You have for them, we ask that You would purify their hearts and lead them to honor You in all things.
Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:6-7). Calm their anxiety and grant them rest, knowing that You are in control. We rebuke fear and declare Your promises of protection and provision over their lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord’s faithfulness, even in the midst of this trial. Seek Him first in all things, and He will guide your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you are feeling overwhelmed, we also suggest practical steps, such as seeking professional pest control assistance and leaning on your church community for support. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
