Father, I come to you humbly to pray for guidance, strength and comfort for this guest and her friend. You know the pain that is in their heart. You know the distress that occupies my mind, night and day. You know their hopes and fears, their confusion and, most importantly, you know what they need, probably, yet again, more than they do. I pray to you, help them. Comfort them. To You, beloved God, help them let go of struggle, strife, and challenge in their life. In the comfort of your peaceful presence, make them whole, fulfilled, and at peace.
Lord please hear the prayers for this guest and friend. God, bless them with Your inner peace which is the result of your soothing presence. Allow Your essence which calms the storms to surround them and their family and lead them into a deeper place of perfect inner peace in their minds. As they focus their mind on Your peaceful presence, help them to release all thought and melt in the comfort and safety of Your love. In Jesus’ name. AMEN.
