We come before the Lord with grateful hearts for your faith and vision to see His glory shine through your family, church, and ministry. Your desire to walk in obedience to Joshua 24:15, where it says, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord," is a powerful declaration, and we stand with you in prayer to see this lived out fully. The Lord is faithful to honor those who honor Him, and we believe He will fulfill His promises over your life, just as Isaiah 60:1 proclaims: "Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the Lord’s glory has risen on you."

Father God, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your peace to rest upon them like a gentle river. May Your blessings overflow in their home, filling every corner with Your presence. We pray for unity, love, and joy to be the foundation of their marriage and family life, reflecting the beauty of Christ’s love for His church. Lord, guard their hearts against division, strife, or any influence that would seek to pull them away from You. Strengthen their faith daily so that they may stand firm in Your truth and be a light to those around them.

We also lift up your church, Lord. You have provided a beautiful place for Your people to gather, and we ask that You fill it with Your Spirit. Draw the believers back to regular fellowship, for Hebrews 10:25 reminds us, "Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." Father, ignite a passion in the hearts of Your people to gather, worship, and grow together. Remove any hindrances, whether spiritual, emotional, or practical, that keep them from coming to Your house. Let Your church be a place of healing, encouragement, and transformation.

We pray for the families you mentioned by name, asking that You would pour out Your grace upon them. Meet their needs, heal their wounds, and draw them closer to You. May they experience the fullness of Your love and walk in the purpose You have for them. Father, we also ask that You bring new believers into the church. Open the eyes of the lost in your community so they may see their need for You. Use your church as a beacon of hope, shining brightly in a world that so desperately needs Your light.

Lord, we lift up this brother’s vision for Your glory to be revealed through his life, church, and ministry. We declare that You will fulfill the promise of Isaiah 60:1 in his life, that his light will shine brightly for You. Equip him with wisdom, strength, and discernment to lead Your people well. May his ministry be a vessel for Your power, drawing many to salvation and discipleship. We pray that the believers in his church would rise up with boldness, unity, and a heart to serve You wholeheartedly. Let their lives be a testimony to Your goodness, and may they be a blessing to this ministry, supporting it with prayer, service, and encouragement.

Father, we also want to gently address the importance of approaching You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to You, as He Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage this brother and all who read this to ensure that their prayers and lives are grounded in the truth of the Gospel. If anyone has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray they would do so today, confessing Him as Lord and believing in their heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of complacency, distraction, or division that may be hindering the growth of this church. We declare that Your Spirit will move powerfully, stirring the hearts of Your people to seek You wholeheartedly. May this church be a place where lives are transformed, families are restored, and the lost are saved. We pray that You would use this ministry in mighty ways, not for the glory of man, but for the glory of Your holy name.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're grateful you've shared these desires with us, and we're joining you in prayer for your family, church, and ministry. The burden you carry for peace in your home and souls in your church speaks of a shepherd's heart, and we don't take that lightly.

What strikes us is how your request weaves together the intimacy of family and the public work of ministry. You're asking for your household, your wife and daughter, to be anchored in peace, even as you ask God to fill the seats of a building that can hold over two hundred. That's not a small tension, and many pastors feel it. When you pray for your home, you're tending the very first congregation God gave you. A practical step might be to set a regular, unhurried rhythm where you, your wife, and your daughter speak a simple blessing over one another, not a formal ceremony, just the honest words you'd want them to carry: that they are loved, that they belong, that God has good in store for them. The resource we have on blessings points out that speaking value and a special future over someone builds deep acceptance. Your family needs to hear that from you, and you need to hear it from them.

For the church, we're asking God to stir a steady, faithful hunger in the believers you already know, and to open the hearts of new ones in your community. We can't force that hunger, but we can keep our own hearts expectant and our doors genuinely open. You've named specific families; we'll pray for them by the names you've listed.

And that vision from Isaiah 60:1, to arise and shine, is a worthy one. When God calls a leader to step into light, He often does it through the small, faithful acts no one else sees: a visit made, a prayer offered when no one's watching, a gentle word in your own home. That's the ground out of which a larger ministry grows.

Lord, we bring this pastor, his wife, and his daughter before You. Cover their home with Your peace, guard their relationships, and let them know deep in their bones they are Yours. For their church, draw believers back with renewed love for You and bring those who don't yet know You through the doors. Uphold the families he's named, and let him see the light of Your promise breaking over his life and ministry. In Jesus' name, amen.

The cry of your heart has reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. You long for peace within your household, and you turn to the promise given to Joshua. Mark well that word: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” That decision must be a daily reality, not a mere inscription over your door. True peace, the peace which the world cannot give, is the portion of those whose minds are stayed upon Jehovah. “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You.” The blood of Jesus whispers peace within; when the soul trusts wholly in Him, there is a blessed calm even in a dark world of sin. Let that be the foundation of your family life, a firm trust in Christ alone for salvation, and a steadfast resolve to walk in His ways.

Your vision to arise and shine for the glory of God is drawn from the right source. “Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.” This is a word to the Church, and you are part of that living body. It is not your own light you kindle, but the reflected glory of the risen Lord. He is the Captain of the Lord’s host, standing with drawn sword in the midst of His people. Only those with spiritual eyes can see Him, but He is there, ready to lead you in the battle. If you would see your church filled to the seats, cry to the Lord of the harvest. The increase of the Church is a marvellous thing when it is of God: converts flying as doves to their windows, souls finding rest in the ark. Yet pray with wisdom. Thank God for every soul that is added, but desire not mere numbers. The most effectual fan to separate chaff from wheat is a faithful ministry. Seek that those who gather be of the right sort, true priests standing before the Lord, not professors who soon turn back. The Church on earth is the nursery for the Church above, and its true prosperity is measured by spiritual health, not by the crowd alone.

Lift up the families you named, and every household known to you, into the hands of Him who blots out transgressions for His own sake. He calls men everywhere to look unto Him and be saved, the poor Hindu, the rich man, the man of caste, the outcast. There is but one way. Plead the promise for your land: “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.” The darkness may be gross, but the Lord shall arise upon His Church. A shining Church is a happy Church, and a happy Church is a growing Church. Let your own soul be filled with the joy of the Lord, and you will draw others to that joy. The Lord grant you to see this vision fulfilled, and to behold the glory of God rising upon your family, your church, and your beloved India. Press on in prayer, and do not faint, for the Lord has promised that His Church shall shine in the brightness of a day that never ends.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask prayer for your family’s peace and blessings, and you set before them the word of Joshua, “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” That is a noble resolve. Yet consider what the patriarch Jacob learned: he obtained the blessing, yet spent his days in servitude, in fears and plots, and called his years few and evil. His brother Esau lived in security and even became a terror to him. Where then did the blessing find its fulfillment? Not in earthly ease, but in the world to come. Seek therefore that peace which passes understanding, the peace that Christ left as His own gift. This is the mother of all good things. If you would have your household truly blessed, strive to be peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Where peace is absent, everything else is useless. Let your family be a small church, where grace and peace from God reign through Jesus Christ.

You desire that multitudes fill the place where two hundred may sit, and that backsliders return. This is worthy, but remember what draws souls is not the size of the building but the power of the word. Give attendance to reading the divine Scriptures, to exhortation, to teaching. When believers come, let them hear not carnal commandments or promises of fleshly luxury, but the dispensation of salvation wrought by Christ. This is the root of all blessings: the bonds of death loosed, sin taken away, the curse abolished. Preach this, and the Lord will add to the church. Moreover, see that peace is proclaimed each time you gather. The presiding minister pronounces peace, and you should receive it with eagerness. A church divided or full of disturbance drives away the Spirit; a church at peace becomes heaven on earth, where angels delight to attend. For each believer, even the least, has an angel beholding the Father’s face. Live soberly, then, as in the presence of those tutors, and the demon will have no foothold.

You have named several families for special prayer. I join with you in lifting them before the throne of grace. But remind them that true blessing comes not from outward show. A gentlewoman is truly noble not by a crowd of servants but by modesty and contentedness; to need few attendants is angelic. In the same way, a household that shuns vainglory and cultivates simplicity walks near the angelic life. Let them attend to their own souls, to prayer and almsgiving, for such devotion sanctifies the hands and pulls down pride. Be the dispenser of your own gifts, distributing to the needy in the fear of God, and you shall receive the blessings of widows and orphans.

Your vision to shine for God’s glory, according to Isaiah’s word, “Arise, shine, for your light has come,” is a holy ambition. But take care that it not be soiled by pride. When you desire that God use you mightily, seek first the humility that asks for no retinue. The Son of God came to earth to set at peace things in heaven and on earth; if you would be used mightily, become a maker of peace. Let your ministry not be weighed by numbers or visible success, but by whether you faithfully dispense the word of reconciliation. Grace and peace are yours only from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. He made us saints and sons when we were enemies. Cling to that gift, and whatever outward increase comes will be His doing, not your platform for glory. Then shall the promise of Isaiah be fulfilled in you, not by earthly spectacle, but by a life that reflects the light of the age to come.

I have read your request, and I want you to know that I am joining you in prayer for your family, your church, and the vision God has placed on your heart. Joshua 24:15 is a powerful commitment, and I am asking the Lord to make your household a place where His peace rules. That peace will not come through merely trying harder or through outward circumstances; it comes when we truly understand the grace of God. Grace and peace always go together in the New Testament, and they never reverse that order. You cannot have His settled peace until you have received and anchored your heart in His grace. So my prayer for your family is that you all would experience the depth of God’s grace in a fresh way, and out of that grace, the blessing of His peace.

Your longing to see the church filled with believers who come regularly is a good desire. The place you have can seat many, but the Spirit is the one who builds the church. In the early days, the church grew not by fundraisers or clever human methods, but because they were led by the Holy Spirit. Never be tempted to chase after numbers or adopt the world’s techniques; instead, keep your heart fixed on prayer and on simply walking in the truth. God is not impressed by a crowd, but by a people who are fully His. If He has given you a hall that can hold two hundred, then trust Him to fill it with souls who will genuinely worship, as you continue to minister in a way that is pleasing to Him and not to man.

I am also lifting up the specific families you mentioned. In the early church, there was a strong sense that we are one body. When one part suffered, the others shared that burden. We are far away geographically, but we are united in Christ, and we can carry these needs before His throne together. The ministry of intercessory prayer is precious, and I am glad you take it seriously.

About the vision that burns in you from Isaiah 60:1, to arise and shine for God’s glory: hold fast to that promise. But remember that God’s way of fulfilling such a promise often looks different from what we first imagine. Many who have been called into ministry have spent long seasons supporting themselves with their own hands, not because God had forgotten them, but because He was forming something deep in them. Do not measure your effectiveness by immediate results or outward success. The Lord Himself puts us into the ministry and commits the gospel to our trust. One day, each of us will answer to Him for the work He has given us, not to a board or to human expectations. So let your accountability be to God alone. If He has called you, He will also equip you, sustain you, and open the doors in His time. Keep your heart pure, love your people genuinely, and let the Spirit guide every step. I am standing with you in prayer that He will use you in mighty ways, for His glory alone.
