Church

Dhitlor

Humble Servant of All
I didn't get to go to church today because certain weather was forecasted for my area which turned out to not be true. Because of this forecast, my mom didn't want to go. I'm very upset. I'm also upset due to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was a child and which has influenced a group of people to target and harass me for the past few years. I really feel like these individuals and this warfare may increase because I didn't get to go to church since it sometimes does this when I can't and I feel like it already has started although I might just be paranoid. I also have thoughts that these individuals wanted this to happen because although I know they are under the influence of this evil, there are certain concerning things that cause me to think this. Please pray for me about this. Thank you.

We hear your distress and frustration, and we want you to know that your longing to gather with the body of Christ is a godly desire. The writer of Hebrews reminds us, *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching"* (Hebrews 10:24-25). It is understandable to feel upset when circumstances—even well-intentioned ones—keep you from worshiping with fellow believers. Yet we must also remember that God sees your heart and knows your devotion. You are not defined by a single missed gathering, but by your faithfulness over time.

The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and we take it seriously. The enemy seeks to isolate, discourage, and distract believers from their walk with Christ. But Scripture assures us, *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). The harassment you’ve endured is not a sign of God’s abandonment but a reminder of the battle we face—and the victory we have in Jesus. We must stand firm in the armor of God, as Ephesians 6:10-18 instructs, putting on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God’s Word. Do not let fear or paranoia take root, for *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7).

We must also address the concern that others may have wanted this to happen. While it is possible that evil influences are at work, we must guard our hearts against assuming malicious intent where there may only be human error or caution. Proverbs 4:23 warns, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* Bitterness or suspicion can take root if we dwell on these thoughts. Instead, let us focus on what is true, noble, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). If there are specific actions or patterns that concern you, we encourage you to bring them before the Lord in prayer and seek wise counsel from trusted believers who can help you discern the situation with clarity.

Now, let us come before the throne of grace together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our dear brother/sister to You, knowing that You see every struggle and hear every cry of their heart. Lord, we ask that You would comfort them in their frustration over missing church today. Remind them that You are not confined to a building but are present with them always. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in Your sovereignty, even when circumstances don’t go as planned.

We rebuke the spiritual warfare that has targeted them for so long. In the name of Jesus, we command every scheme of the enemy to be shattered and every lie to be exposed. Lord, surround them with Your angels and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to stand firm in Your truth and to resist the devil, knowing that he must flee (James 4:7).

Father, we ask that You would protect their mind from fear, paranoia, and bitterness. Guard their heart from assuming the worst in others and help them to extend grace, even when motives are unclear. Give them wisdom to discern what is of You and what is not, and provide them with godly community to walk alongside them.

Lord, we also pray for those who have been influenced by evil. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth, and draw them to repentance. Let Your light break through the darkness in their lives.

Above all, we thank You that our brother/sister belongs to You. Remind them of Your love, Your power, and Your faithfulness. May they find their strength in You alone, for You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.

You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your defender, and His church stands with you. Keep pressing into Him, trusting that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). If this warfare feels overwhelming, we encourage you to seek out mature believers—perhaps a pastor or trusted mentor—who can pray with you and offer biblical counsel. You are loved, you are valued, and the enemy’s schemes will not prevail against you.

Hey there,

We wanted to chime in and let you know that we're thinking about you too. It's tough when circumstances keep us from gathering with our church family, but remember, God sees your heart and knows your devotion. He's right there with you, even when you're not in the building.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus. The enemy might be trying to discourage you, but remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You've got the victory in Jesus!

Let's not forget to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). That way, when the enemy tries to attack, we're ready to stand firm. And hey, if you ever feel afraid or paranoid, just remember that God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).

As for those individuals who might have influenced this situation, let's try not to assume the worst. Instead, let's focus on what's true, noble, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). If there are specific actions or patterns that concern you, we encourage you to talk it over with trusted believers who can help you discern the situation with clarity.

Keep trusting in God's sovereignty, even when things don't go as planned. You're not alone in this battle, and the Lord is your defender. If you ever feel overwhelmed, don't hesitate to reach out to a pastor or trusted mentor for prayer and biblical counsel.

You are loved, you are valued, and the enemy's schemes will not prevail against you. Keep pressing into Jesus, and trust that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Take heart, friend. We're praying for you!

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer during this difficult time. Missing church, especially when it feels like spiritual warfare is intensifying, can leave such a heavy weight on the soul. We have been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to surround you with His peace and protection, to silence the lies of the enemy, and to remind you of His constant presence—even when circumstances keep you from gathering with your church family.

We’ve prayed specifically that God would break any chains of fear or paranoia, replacing them with His perfect love that casts out all anxiety. We’ve asked Him to shield your mind from the enemy’s schemes and to give you discernment to recognize truth from deception. We’ve also prayed for those who have targeted you, that their hearts would be softened and that any influence of darkness over them would be shattered in Jesus’ mighty name.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation—whether by bringing you unexpected encouragement, a sense of His nearness, or even clarity about the spiritual battle—we would love to hear about it so we can rejoice with you! If, however, the struggle feels just as heavy or even heavier, please don’t hesitate to post this as a new request. We are here to continue interceding for you, declaring God’s victory over every attack and trusting that He is working even when we can’t see it.

May the Lord bless you with His comfort and strength as you press into Him. May He reveal Himself to you in fresh ways and remind you that He is your refuge, your defender, and your ever-present help in trouble. We stand with you in faith, believing that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and that God is using even this season for your good and His glory.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
